Hailed by Billboard as “an introspective, mature writer and a skilled vocalist,” Jordyn Shellhart is ready to share her music through her own voice. Through a good number of twists, turns and worldview shakeups, she found herself racking up credits as a songwriter, including Little Big Town’s Grammy-nominated “Sugar Coat” and songs recorded by Kelsea Ballerini, Cody Johnson, Don Williams and more. “Who Are You Mad At,” Shellhart’s debut track release with Warner Music Nashville, is just the beginning for this dreamer, with more original music set to release this spring.

If you’re talking about the “whiny” instrument like at 1:06, that’s a steel guitar. One of my favorite instruments. Prominent in Country music.

70's folk singer/songwriter... she is quite revered by a lot of musicians and has been inducted in the hall of fame - compared to Carole King.
