Funnily enough, somehow, Arc is more popular than stasis for hunters, which just blows my mind because stasis has so much more utility compared to arc.
Stasis hunter is just harder to play well. If you don't know what you're doing it feels useless lol

Really it just all amounts to the artifact mods. They’re really strong in pvp, especially the damage resistance while amplified. Crazy.

I recently started using Arc Hunter as my main subclass, and in my opinion, it's the most fun class in 3v3. A lot of people don't expect the dodge into the melee, which often leads to impressive team wipes. Additionally, it's very enjoyable to utilize sticky grenades in the arc subclass.
It's really fun in Rumble, as well.
Shinobu’s Vow with skip nades are better imo. I tried Flux nade builds but it didn’t seem to do as well. You get nades back more consistently and frequently with shinobus, they track better, and you can jolt with mod.
Arcbolt has actually been my favorite hunter sub rn specially because of the melee and how it works with frags vs jolting enemies while using the centrifuse to get multiple orbs and amplified and then easier kills and you get your grenade and melee back pretty quickly if you set up your class the right way
Aside from Solar subclass, which I mainly use in combination with Tripmine build, I don't see any reason to use Arc subclass on Hunter in PvP. I don't know maybe it's just because I've played 2000 hours with Solar build. But on one thing I can agree that, it DEFINITELY shreds adds in any activity and generates TONS of orbs.

Arc bolts are inconsistent with there hit and sometimes it just straight up doesnt work so I mean whats the point im using them when I can put on some guantlets and throw fuckin nukes that give energy on hit.
I main arc hunter with foetracers & I love it. I feel like arc hunter doesn’t have much “spam abilities” like the other classes & I get to just really focus on my gunplay

I've been maining arc hunter since last season and my biggest frustration is almost all the subclass exotics being tied to arc staff. Also don't sleep on the slide melee, it's a lot better than people give it credit for. Just takes some getting used to

slide melee with a wave frame or a slug was one of my favorite things prior to 3.0 subclasses

It just feels like its too dependant on RNG luck. Will my chest work, or will it do literally nothing and I just wasted my exotic slot? I far prefer something with consistent performance and feedback, knowing that it will always be doing the whole exotic perk every time. That's why I prefer Shinobu's Vow.
💯 agree. Lucky R is better in pve but I still think vow is better. Lucky R needs a rework/ buff
@whimsicalweiner ive been using vow in gms for overloads and its been nice you can throw from behind cover and still stun it

At 08:00 a titan from the enemy team hits a 3 man melee and one of the dudes just insta leave the matchl lol 😂
Not necessarily the best but this build is real fun with trinity ghoul for some crazy team wipes and a lot of aoe damage against the other team. Personally i run the ranged malee on arc just cuz it can lead to some multi-kills against a group of enemies especially if you have the arc rod on trinity active. Trinity does take some getting used to tho
Arc is the step child of the hunter subclasses with having blink and more aggressive play. I’m never on my hunter but when i do i ape with blink and it works 😂
It's about time the Lucky Raspberry got some love. It's only been my favorite Arc Hunter exotic since fucking launch.
Bruh lucky rasberry was the first thing i slapped on when arc 3.0 came out. Makes hunters a friggen monster in all content.
I've always thought arc hunter was strong in PvP. The design just isn't as free as striker titan since they just play the game normally and get huge benefits for that for whatever reason.
I like shinobu's vow or wormhusk on arc hunter tbh. Sometimes even just lucky pants for last word sniping with blink.

As good as it is now I'm still pissed off that hunters do not have a Tier 5 cooldown super. It's freaking annoying going against Well of Radiance or Bubble and not have anything to counter it instantly because Warlocks/Titans just charge it that much faster.
Frost, after the rangefinder nerf, what do you think the new rose god roll would be? I have one I'm excited about. Slideshot/opening shot. With full bore, steady rounds, and rangemaster work. I wish I had accurized, but otherwise I LOVE it.

It’s just not good for 6s, trials would probably be a better place to test depending on the map
I love using arcstrider in 6s. In comp/trials, I can understand why it isn’t up there.

I’m surprised that you’re not using tempest strike ? Like it’s so free and you can get it back by dodging. Plus it dose like 150 damage it’s to free

I use Speedloader Slacks with Arc Hunter and I quite like it.

I have a build that with enough melee kills and paired with assassins cowl in control I can have my super before we get 1/3 in so I build at least 2-3 supers in a game of control so in clash it could be around 3-4 but I kinda don’t like being in crucible for long periods of time I’m just not a huge pvp guy…
I don’t use arc bolt anymore since bungie suddenly nerfed their damage, it’s the weakness Grenade in the game now and not good enough for me
Gathering storm now is kinda like a better t crash in some ways. As a Titan I’m sad :(

@@Ace_Gunner in pvp surges are only a 6% buff with 4 surge like Bakris gives you, which is why bakris is useless on scouts cause 6% more on a four tap won't make it 3 tap, people run it with sidearms and smgs because it's a lot more rounds getting the 6%
