It's bizarre that I clicked on this vid. I had no idea it was based in NZ and didn't at all recognize the word mahana, but as soon as the video started playing I realized I'd met this man earlier in the year. I was at a family party thing wearing a tye die shirt that I did myself and he was beyond impressed. my father lived at mahana as a rebellious teenager. I really can't believe I accidentally clicked on this.
I love how friendly and peaceful this guy is. I hope the community problems can get resolved, because I'm genuinely sad that his beautiful home is being disrupted (especially with him being elderly) in such a way that seems to be clearly depressing him, and no wonder. I couldn't believe how rude the guy was to him at around 9:45. And his response was so measured and polite! I haven't finished watching the video yet, but I felt the need to comment. I'm fascinated and depressed by this at the same time. I hope he's doing okay today, man.
"He hasn't tried to reach out... we don't want him around our kids." Why? Because he's fine with having neighbors and you're afraid that will rub off on them?
@Nick Butler and @james daly Nice to know his okay. His apart of an old generation that founded those ideals for the right reasons, nowadays some younger generations like the way things were but they don't want to change certain fulcral aspects in there life. I agree, I think that rude guy has a very toxic additude and I think he and his friends run people out by making all these excuses that people are stealing. When it's really them causing problems. Vandalism on a house is probably not all they do. I like Arthur. He seems like a kind gentleman. 🙂
@@fengkorberfer I find him very attractive in many different ways. If I was single and living in NZ I would love to go find him and end my days with him
What a well spoken, well experienced, humble, noble, charitable, down to earth, peaceful man!!!! The world could do with a lot more Arthur's.... I am going to visit this beautiful place in a week or two
I find this thinking funny, It's always a race with humans. Who can live the longest, who can have the most shit, who can be the most fit, funny, smart... ect. The day humans live to not impress others, but impress themselves is the day we begin making progress as a collective.
White Boy what's tumblr? Like a rock tumbler? That's a wierd place to put words, do I like print off the words, or just stick my phone in there with this thread pulled up?
In terms of the kids leaving, People have to understand this. The only reason that community is there is because a group of like minded people came together, said X, Y and Z is what is wrong with the world and created that community. The kids grew up in that community but didn't share the world grow their parents had adopted. They saw the life and opportunity that the outside world held and rightly left. They're their own people and they hadn't been through the life exspereinces that had shaped their parents. They had to shape their own philosophy and their parents had no right to force theirs on their children. The only way the community would have survived is if their parents went with a cult like approach and isolated themselves fully and kept their children ignorant, in which case they would have failed as parents.
Yup kids always think they know better than their parents until they become parents themselves. Then even some still think it until their very last breath and then they say.....ohhhh, now I understand!
@@PatchouliPenny its the pervasive rebellious attitude. its not just between kids and parents.. but its also between current and older generations, i am speaking of ancient and modern time. we think we are right and we throw away "ancient traditions" because we deem them vile, repulsive or simply wrong. turns out, they are right... well, most people live their lives never finding out, those who deal with the problems the current status quo poses, figure it out...
Even though he has come to terms with it, I can't imagine how it must feel to watch such a close knit community gradually fade. I'd like to think that even though it's all gone, the base of the ideal upon which it was built on still lives on, in him. Fuck, I think I finally got the title
If you haven't enjoyed any of their videos for years why were you stil subscribed? Just saying. For me if a channel starts uploading shit i dont like i will unsubscribe after a 1 or 2 weeks.
Wesley Dunphy I would guess not since there's been plenty of good shit, although not nearly as much as before the HBO show. On the other hand he's probably just another one of the thousands of triggered edgelords voting and commenting on all these videos they claim to hate.
That Dave guy isn't a wanker, He just isn't respecting the Mahana way of life, It's clear that he prefers to be isolated and private which is the exact opposite of why this land was freed. His reaction with Arthur is very revealing as he tells him he'll do the interview as long as Arthur isn't present, This man wants to govern the community and choose who can and can't live there, this goes against all the Mahana stood for.
Then you resolve that as a community. David was right in one thing: There needs to be precedent for how the community deals with newcomers and handles disputes like that. Communities can self-organize without the huge burden of modern laws and society but shrugging all of those off for "Total Freedom" is only the first steps. The new foundations of their small society need to be laid out in clear and lasting ways. But becoming an isolationist and purging "undesirable" elements by burning down and vandalizing property isn't the proper way to do anything. A community like this can only exist if it is that--a community. It needs communication between all its members, interdependence, and transparency.
I want him as my teacher.. this guy knows things about life that none of the people I've ever encountered will ever know. He has a perfect structure for the society. He is not lonely. Only if he was listened.I could talk to him for ever.
I love how David Prisk goes on about how Arthur is lonely and hasn't established relationships with people in Mahana and then immediately follows that up with " we don't want him around our families". which one is it fucker. those are two very different things.
+Ned Gold oh fucking Boohoo that's how the world works. who the fuck wants to work for a community that has trashed them every video that came out, I remember "vice is becoming shit" "what the fuck they uploading now". now they sold out the same people are complaining vice is selling out. Get fucked
Heil DARKSEID You work for them or something? And there are plenty of people or originizations that sell out to media conglomerates and keep their integrity. It's just ironic (but beautifully fitting) that a publication that started out as counter cultural and anti corporate would sell out so spectacularly, but I guess that's true for ALL of generation X.
Maybe living in an anarchist community isn't for you David? Because that's the whole point of a community like that and if you can't deal with it you'd be better off living on a local housing estate. I hope Arthur finds some proper people to move in and protect the place. It's very sad that there are so many Davids in the world and so few Arthurs so that every anarchist community at some point has to fight the Davids.
In the beginning you kinda feel bad for this man. He is longing for the past, daydreaming of what happened and isolating himself in the hope that maybe one day it will come back. So it makes you feel bad to see him like that - with the dream of what was there. But then I heard his ending lines, and I understood what he said; he's exactly where he wants to be...
Lived at Mahana for a few years on & off as a teenager in the 90's was a great place but factionalism & paranoia brought out the worst in a lot of people went to a reunion some years later & was absolutly shocked at the state of how people there had grown into enemies it was never all peace & love hippi dippi but at least there was respect & some bounderies now it looks like a totaly different less pleasent place to be for the sake of residents former & current i hope it finds a way to pull out of feuding snake syndrome (i remember when Rose Arthurs granddaughter was born he would sit with her in his shirtless arms singing out front of cookhouse glad to see he wore clothes for interview)
Hey Karl, i am in New Zealand right now, and i would love to go to Mahana and meet Arthur... but i cant really find the exact location anywhere.. could you maybe give me a road name or something that i could find it? Would be greatly appreciated!
I went to the coromandel in NZ recently and stayed in the Mahana area (tapu-coroglen road) . I was camped with other people who lived there in caravans and old school buses which was really interesting to see. Driving on the dirt roads you come across a load of old hand built houses which always had old buses in the front garden from when they arrived in the 70s and stayed there. very beautiful place and lovely documentary.
"He hasn't established relationships with us....We don't want him around our families." Don't you think THAT MIGHT BE THE REASON why he hasn't established a relationship with you in any tangible way? Because you just tell him to go away all the time? Arthur seems like a genuinely nice guy. The other guy seems like some jackass who wants to live by himself in the woods and not pay taxes.
hobo fosho the dude does has a point. If it's as easy as David says to get residency in mahana we all know people with shady backgrounds or overall shitty people would chomp at the bits to get in this kind of community. But I think this documentary isn't to show who is bad or good, just that mahana has changed. The community is no longer vibrant and now it has become a few families who live in a commune. Just a somber documentary really.
Rather than create some sort of gate and whatnot you just have to live with the shitty and shady people and let the good ones influence everyone into either being good or you systematically weed out the bad ones. While Slab City is mostly shady people, the honest worst of them all get weeded out and shunned by the rest eventually. Shit works out.
You're so on point. I feel that Mahana and this documentary is poignant reminder that humans have evolved over time - perhaps with the force of technology, perhaps just urbanization and globalization. The community started because they were people with the same ideology. But today, this information spreads faster and invites visitors that are not necessarily people with the same ideology. I could imagine tourists who just want a taste of adventure with little regard of the culture here and of course punks that would tear down the place overnight. Arthur's wish for for the community to return to its initial form is a reflection of our wish for humanity to return to a time we are starting to forget.
Just the way Arthur looks at people, and talks, you can tell he's the reasonable mind in the matter (and that he's certainly a wonderful person). And the other guy is garbage - the way he looks around, stressed, unable to look in the eye, bringing forth the excuses he uses to exorcize his guilt. Arthur is wiser and the second guy is just weak - free communities, in fact, end up attracting lazy people, and wiseguys, who just stick around to suck the community dry. For the moment, the cicle of Evil has planted it's roots in Mahana (in the same way good triumphed for many years). Another cycle will one day come. Five star documentary.
The first guy is a hippie lunatic, the second is a resposible father. Life is not a children story, some people are lazy and violent. If you had a child living there you definitelely would change your mind, this is the crucial difference between the two guys. One's family left to live their own life so the only person in danger is he himself. He can afford being an open-minded guy with open heart to anyone willing to live in Mahana. The second one has to think about his family too. Imagine living next to a bunch of vandals destroying property for fun and now imagine your daughter playing next to them. That's the problem of all those idealistic communes of "flower generation". In order to work all people must be willing to sacrifice for a group. All people living there must be decent people without flaws. And that's an utopy
M. Dud the second guy decided to live in Mahana and attain Mahana rules. If he was so worried about safety he wouldn't have gone to live there in the first place. He's just a bad guy, preventing others from joining, disrupting the whole idea that the place was founded on.
M. Dud where would you get the idea that his lifestyle is dangerous? He built his own home, and raised his children on principles of love and kindness. Let me guess, it's just because he smokes weed that he's a "hippie lunatic"...
Arthur is an idealist, clearly. The other guy is a bit more pragmatic. The conflict is created because there are few laws or law enforcement. Meaning, there was no reasonable way in which to deal with accusations of theft. So, a kind of anarchic vigilantism filled the gap. On top of that, natural tribalism has taken place. I find it very telling that the other people on the land, the ones who reacted by destroying the house, they have kids. Children are very commonly victimized in situations like this by drifters who come through to take advantage of the lawless conditions. There is evil in the world beyond land ownership. Simply giving up ownership doesn't purge the evil in men's souls. Theft, abuse, pederasty, etc, those things do not hinge on land ownership. Signing a book isn't enough of a test.
I think it's a key point to remember, Arthur DID raise kids there when there was an actual community that held values. Isolationists have since decided to move onto the freehold and decide to only protect what's "theirs". I am more inclined to not want to live there because of him than some vague fear of thieves. The decline of the cook house is the most telling sign.
David: "[Arthur] hasn't really established relationships with a lot of us. We don't want him around our families." The perfect example of the backwards mind of a land monopolist. How do you expect people to establish a relationship with you if you won't give them a chance?
David is a fucking scumbag I mean, my family and I are super cool with our neighboring families One of the reasons why we all chose NOT to make fences (unless you have a large dog that likes to spend much of its time in the yard then there needs to be a fence since there are many kids around This is all until we got someone like David that was trying to force all of us to build fences, make curfew rules around the neighborhood (uhh what?!), have all of us do our neighboring "duties" (i.e. neighborhood watch even though we all think it's unnecessary, clean the street which I am fine with, etc). only problem is, he and his family doesn't want to do those duties themselves because they are "busy". I don't even...

Frank Howell as why he's moved away from people like yourself ignorant & arrogants along with materialism as you a judgmental man would never know his position.Meet the man before you judge a man is a saying my wise grandfather's & there father's alway lived & taught us by there. As for living in Mahana the new people living there are trying to do change what mahana stands for & made for free living for all whom decide to stay. You have these new residents paranoid from the outside world for what ....what have they to hide hmm. MAYBE you need to move Arthur is part of the land you arogant the persons.
The people burning down houses should be tried as criminals. They are destroying free property, and the environment around that property by releasing toxic fumes and waste. Bring back mahana 2017.
Arthur is a real good old man...his got a good humble heart...your awesome Arthur..👍never mind what people say about you.....you still doing great hats off to u oldman..👍😔
i don’t understand how people could neglect such a place. it is a paradise. you work for the good of the community, not for money and for yourself. if you could build it up again it would be a thriving community. hopefully it’s still intact by the time i’m old enough to move there. you’re doing great arthur. i respect him
@@xXFartGarfUncleXx well Arthur is the leading elder with the best intentions. Apparently there's a Facebook page for support. A gofundme would be better. At least 100 people have said they'd love to go and help him get it working again
Fyodor Dostoyevsky not on a global scale but with small off the grid communities it really isnt impossible. Of course the best possible way is a healthy mix of capitalism and socialism!
He says he's not lonely, but I can feel his pain through the camera. Sadly, a community without rules doesn't quite work. It always collapses in the end.
I don't think his pain is bc of loneliness. I think he's just sad bc the place he loves isn't full of life and love anymore. And that's a reflection of the world. Unfortunately a sad refection.
Because people are shit heads if only we could help and love another. No one is saying you have to be perfect but look back in the glory days people would just cook for Each-other but no one was obligated
This concept has been around since recorded history. The problem with Mahana is that they had no elected leaders or elders. Every Indian tribe had a chief and the elders had positions of authority due to their age and wisdom. If this process of authority is not established then you start to get manipulation by those that do not pull their weight. You end up with just a few that take care of many and no one has the authority to settle conflicts which will always arise.
The concept of anarchism is there are no leaders. The problem here is that David wants to be the authority and authority always leads to abuse of power. When you have elected leaders you have government, then you have tyranny and that then is not an anarchist community.
that dave guy and the other greedy people should go buy their own land, you can tell he is 100% wrapped up in materialism. It's not HIS land. they have clearly ruined the place. I hope the original land owners kick these corporate a holes out and get back real deserving people there, so Arthur isn't so lonely and outcasted.
Final172 but you could also say that for every other nation in the world yet we don’t go around telling them that they stole that land they’re currently living in. Most of the countries started off with a certain ethnic group already living there before more and more people came in through the centuries and increased the population.
I often times find myself wishing for a life of simplicity such as this, derived of the dogmas and media propaganda and lust for nice shiny new things. The people that are bashing this man, what good does it do you to have such a closed mind about another man's happiness? Some people truly love life more by owning less. I don't know about anyone else, but i believe owning nothing and being absolutely happy with it is worth so much more than having it all and not giving a shit about others. You rock, dude! One of these days i too will live that lifestyle, truly happy and away from all of this modern bs. by the way, to those thinking im some 50 year old wannabe hippie, im 20 years old and have a nice job. It just seems as though modern life isn't where my happiness is. Peace and love
If this man was born with a billion dollars he wouldn't be here, he was born poor and went there, his shirt reads "Why can't I be rich" for gods sake lol. There is a reason nobody lives there anymore.
Bee Gee how do you know? Many people that where very wealthy went for a life like this, also i would pay much attention to what his t-shirt says.. Because probable its the only one he has.... Also because its meant to be a joke...
The guy and his wife didn't want Authur around. Then he goes on to say they think he is lonely and doesn't communicate with others. If you and all the others say :We don't want him around our families etc. How is he suppose to get to know everyone? They keep treating him like dirt. God Bless Aurthur and those who like him. Then bless everyone else who doesnt.
UAB Nero statyba lmao well considering the guy who is talking shit on the man is an arson who despises him and everyone else living near him, sounds safe to say he's the one with the moral high ground
We never see Arthur really interact with non camera people aside from the kid and the guy, I agree that ""Without You Present" is pretty harsh... but... There is alot of context here we don't have.
There are humble & Grateful people commenting here. PEACE to you all.POSITIVE ENERGY ' Thank you & Arthur may the laws of attraction be in your favour.
I am really moved by this story of Arthur and the Mahana people... Especially with Covid-19 happening right now... and how the Mahana way of life is a dream of the past, but perhaps it could manifest a new future? An old man, who has remained true, He’s Inspiring, he does not feel loneliness & experiences hostility in his community for being Free! Wow! Arthur you are a beautiful human being. Thank you for doing this documentary, I never knew this place existed.
The human condition. They talk about their things getting stolen and being raided but I think the people who live in Mahana completely forgot about the sole purpose of it. Mahana was created because they wanted to have free people to live on free land. Away from society, law, and societal regulations. I think Mahana would've worked if people left their connection with tangle goods and disconnected themselves from ownership of things. If people entered the community with an understanding of "what's mine if yours", to not hurt/ harm one another, and to hold strong communication, I think Mahana would be still flourishing today.
Janine McQueen ok you spend an entire 3 seasons planting growing and harvesting the food youll need to live for the year i come by your house and take it all becuase you said yourself you dont belive in owning the food. i take this and hoard it all and and dont let you have it back.
Chris I think you got it twisted. That's not the problem with Mahana, that's the problem with people. Mahana tries to discourage such traits by having members of the community freely give away what they worked for voluntarily, and by such merit every other person in the community will follow suit. But if one new member is disagreeable and disrupts that kind of connection then the community has the right to disavow that somebody. I think that's why mahana did not flourish, is because they were too forgiving, and the new people were too cruel.
MrBruceLee I acknowledge your points and should be considered factual. But Mohana did not fail, it's a good ideal, but the people in it ultimately failed. It stands on the premise that everybody who joins should work for the betterment of their community, and whatever they work for should go to that. And that includes lending a hand to the people who needs it. The keyword their is everything should work, and therefore already eliminating the leeches expecting those "handouts". So by having people voluntarily not working is failing the community, and by having the people not freely giving/helping community members who legitimately needs it is failing the community.
Laura van der Zee That’s because New Zealand is named after Zeland in The Netherlands. Dutch explorer (Abel Tasman) was the first European to discover New Zealand, but he didn’t go ashore. 100 years later English Explorer (James Cook) went ashore and became the first European to step foot on New Zealand and here we are now. That’s why we speak English and not Dutch. Nothing Dutch about this country apart from our name. The Maori (indigenous people) however were the first to discover and settle down in New Zealand (Aotearoa is the Maori name for NZ) and came here in about 1300. Tasman discovered in 1600 then Cook came in 1700.
Laura van der Zee Tasman from Belgium? I don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re talking to someone who is from this country and that knows about this country’s history and the people that made it today. I’ve never learnt or heard anything about Tasman being born or having any ties to Belgium.
My intentions are friendly haha, I'm not trying to win an argument. Do I really come across like that? If so, I'm sorry. It's great to know so much about your country. I meant Arthur. From this video. I read somewhere that he's originally from Belgium. Then again, I don't know the guy but the accent makes sense.
I feel like now more then ever these sorts of communities could thrive gain, especially with things like solar panels and battery backups becoming cheaper and easier to DIY. Could have an off-grid and self sufficient community going. It's kind of always been my dream to have that kind of life. A friend/acquaintance just bought land in NZ too, im rather jealous of him for it
Well you can't it seems because what the guy was saying in the video is that there is another person living there keeping new people from moving in by burning their settlements down. There's always that one guy to ruin everything.
memories , still can hear hoppy turning that sax into a fog horn lol , mahana had the best cook house in the country , we lived by the hall in Colville many years ago, still miss the place

Let´s go there! Seems like the only place left on earth where people could actually live peacefully together. Hope Arthur makes it a few more years, i want to go and live. Live for the first time. Really live in peace.
(English is not my first language, so I’m really sorry if it sounds weird) Just a few days ago I posted something on tumblr about running away, into the woods and live there my own happy live, with a little garden my cats and whatnot, just something like that. And there were other people who wanted to come with me. I don’t mean running away from my problems but living a life where I can be happy. I saw this video. Arthur seems like a nice guy. The way he sees trough his eyes is wonderful. I wish it would be still like the Mahana that it was before. As he said, it’s normal that things change, but why are there people who destroy something like that? Why don’t they just ignore it if they dislike it? And why do people even write their names into this book and want to be a member of Mahana if they don’t live by the rules. I’d love to go there. It would be so cool if the people who know about Mahana and would want to live by the rules would gather and actually fly to New Zealand just to bring Mahana back to live. This is probably not interesting at all but I’m so freaking depressed and O have no one to talk to. The pressure is coming from all sides and I don’t think I can stand it for long. Of course its just for the moment but I just don’t understand why we make our life so hard and complicated with tons of unhealthy stress. It’s not just because I have my exams next week it’s just always like that. I just turned 17 yesterday and I wasn’t happy at all. I want to breathe once in a while. But I can’t because there’s always some stupid problem with school or whatever that is nagging on me. I can’t even relax at home. And of course there are people who feel like that too, I know I’m not alone... but still, I sometimes don’t even know what I’m doing with my life. Seriously, puberty sucks.
Exactly, you can send him a message without adding him as a friend on Facebook. People can find anyone on Facebook. I knew his daughter name and there location, was easy to find the man knowing his first name was Arthur. People might live isolated, might live in a fucking sewer somewhere, but as long as they have mobile connection they have internet, and as long as they have internet they in most cases have a facebook page, and if they have a facebook page you can contact them. Many people blame Mark Zukiberg for selling information, but he made the world shorter by creating a single website.
Beautiful directing I must say. 'Thats the man who burns down houses' I got a whole wizard vs wizard vibe...it also kinds of reminds me of VFD from a Series of Unfortunate events. Where people worked together before a schism happened

Arthur's a legend. Honour. I am still trying find a community like this. Would love to live in it for the rest of my days.
It needs communication between all its members, interdependence, and transparency.
dave seems like the guy to just move there because land was cheap or pretty much free
i think you just proved he is a wanker, coming into the Mahana and disrupting all the stood for
Well thats not the spirit when it was founded.
He's a freeloader
What a legend.

Heil DARKSEID You work for them or something? And there are plenty of people or originizations that sell out to media conglomerates and keep their integrity.

I wouldn't mind living out in a community like that! If there is ever an apocalypse communities like that will be the ones to thrive and survive
"He hasn't established relationships with us....We don't want him around our families." Don't you think THAT MIGHT BE THE REASON why he hasn't established a relationship with you in any tangible way? Because you just tell him to go away all the time? Arthur seems like a genuinely nice guy. The other guy seems like some jackass who wants to live by himself in the woods and not pay taxes.
amen
hobo fosho the dude does has a point.
Hypocrisy at its best...
Anyone else glad that this was in their recommended?
Hell yeah!!!!🧙🏾♂️
David: "[Arthur] hasn't really established relationships with a lot of us. We don't want him around our families."

This is all until we got someone like David that was trying to force all of us to build fences, make curfew rules around the neighborhood (uhh what?!), have all of us do our neighboring "duties" (i.e. neighborhood watch even though we all think it's unnecessary, clean the street which I am fine with, etc). only problem is, he and his family doesn't want to do those duties themselves because they are "busy".
Pilgrim777 Fundamentally you need hierarchy and leadership, but it is not necessary to have tyranny unless your society becomes too large.
Pilgrim777 bro the feminist don’t need no elders
The concept of anarchism is there are no leaders. The problem here is that David wants to be the authority and authority always leads to abuse of power. When you have elected leaders you have government, then you have tyranny and that then is not an anarchist community.
@@helenalford2831 what's the point of having an anarchist community if it can't even function properly?

The human condition.
They talk about their things getting stolen and being raided but I think the people who live in Mahana completely forgot about the sole purpose of it. Mahana was created because they wanted to have free people to live on free land. Away from society, law, and societal regulations. I think Mahana would've worked if people left their connection with tangle goods and disconnected themselves from ownership of things. If people entered the community with an understanding of "what's mine if yours", to not hurt/ harm one another, and to hold strong communication, I think Mahana would be still flourishing today.
Janine McQueen ok you spend an entire 3 seasons planting growing and harvesting the food youll need to live for the year i come by your house and take it all becuase you said yourself you dont belive in owning the food. i take this and hoard it all and and dont let you have it back.
thats the problem with mohana
Chris
I think you got it twisted.
The leviathan took over.
MrBruceLee
I acknowledge your points and should be considered factual.

Such an interesting accent. I hear Germsm, Australian, New Zealand, Scottish and British. And ribbons of Irish and Welsh.
I hear Dutch. And the name sounds Dutch as well.
O I just read that he's originally from Belgium. Close. And thanks for the info.
I thought it was proper. That way he could get both sides of the story of living there. 😂😂😂 And he did. 👍💯
rude.. maybe. but totally justified when you listen to what he said.
My heart it's broken such a beautiful place forgotten in time
Let's get a team of people to help re build this place before a developer comes and ruins it
Jake Kolberg I'd help out 👍

Awwe u can see how much he loves children u can see the happiness in his eyes i hope people can live there again so he wont be so lonely
I love this old man. Beautiful solid man right there
This is what retirement should look like.
lmao true
Yes
so sad that greedy people ruin everything :( that guy seems so lovely and what a shame sociopaths have invaded his place :((
Should they be evicted or allowed to live there?
@@jacksonthemurican5634 sociopaths should be in a place where they can be monitored for the safety of others. They have no place in a free of boundaries and borders place because they'll constantly cause problems, manipulating people to turn on each other, lying, stealing. I know first hand because my son is a sociopath
@@PatchouliPenny this is against the point people should just move and build houses the more people there the less control he can have
Let´s go there! Seems like the only place left on earth where people could actually live peacefully together. Hope Arthur makes it a few more years, i want to go and live. Live for the first time. Really live in peace.
LaLaLand same and i made a hideout with my friends near to my house and we used stuff and its secrect

Just a few days ago I posted something on tumblr about running away, into the woods and live there my own happy live, with a little garden my cats and whatnot, just something like that.
Is it possible to speak to Arthur.Any contact details VICE ?
in mahana ;)

You pay me later hon'. Hope is what you are looking for.
Dead link
it's not dead. you can message him directly on his page.
"We don't see eye to eye."
What, not even your third eye?
illdemoteu no one implied that it was funny.. obviously apart of you thought it was though
***** clearly 60+ people thought it was a bit funny. Maybe grow a sense of humour?

"THE REAL LONELY PERSON MEANS LONELY IN THE CROWD" this touched my soul.
Beautiful directing I must say.
'Thats the man who burns down houses'
I got a whole wizard vs wizard vibe...it also kinds of reminds me of VFD from a Series of Unfortunate events. Where people worked together before a schism happened
I knew it , he is a dutch new zealander.
I could hear his accent a bit.
nope, belgian
Bram Van Echelpoel how do you know?
Hustt Ler a quick google search and i found an article about him and his family
yes heard it too, dutch guy... woke real sane.
I was thinking old Afrikaans. Dutch makes more sense.
Quite a few free spirited Dutch and Germans end up in New Zealand, trying to escape the stultifying rules of their old homelands.
I love this guy's crazy Dutch New Zealander accent, I've never heard the combination before.
Little piece of NZ history here.. Thanks vice
I honor you beauty'full soul , others are still trap in their ego and judgment that is why they love to control, they are filled with fears .... You are Love

Wanna go live in a place like that and see how you do? You'll probably become like everyone else there
