"First one to master it" Carey Hart and Caleb Wyatt had some demons and mental games to deal with after there first attemps. Metz just went out and did it in contest no problem one after the other.
Hart was the first backflip ever, whether he landed it or not is symantix, wyatt was the first one to ride away completely from a backflip, not nearly as gnar as being the first one to actually do a backflip. I give wyatt props for doing it, but he was pretty bad at fmx, he didnt practice enough. Backflip was just about literally the only thing he could do, and it usually took him a few tries to do it
and now he is one of the best in the world :)
