😢 I am happy that you are not hurt, but as soon as i saw that you were using a fire torch. I honestly felt you should have known it was going to turn into a disaster.

So boring for the fire..😢 A tip that I always do in the spring... Is to hang two brown paper bags filled with paper inside so it looks like a wasp's nest.. then they won't get there.. It has worked for me every year now..
Very sorry for what happened to your cool treehouse. But using fire was, as you found out, not a good idea. Next time, maybe you could consider using "Raid Wasp & Hornet Foam Bug Killer" (Hoping you have that in Serbia) for outdoor nests. Avoid spraying surrounding vegetation directly. Once the nest is thoroughly saturated, it can be removed or left alone-either way, it won't be used again by other wasps! Just be sure to wait at least 48 hours before removing the nest.

Sorry about the fire! Best thing is to wait for wasps or hornets to get on nests at sundown then spray with hornet spray from as far as 50-ft away. Your videos came up in my feed and I’ve been enjoying watching several this morning. Take care!

Oh dear. Not your day. From what I see, it’s mostly surface damage on the inside. Once that’s cleared out the basic structure is still there. A fresh interior and all good. Lesson learned the hard way on fire and the nest. Your mushrooms were the catch of goodness to save the day. Good Luck, 🌹✨

So sorry for what has happened to you.. you keep building where there is to many insects/bugs.. don't give up start again right away from any bugs in the area.. at least the hot box was saved.. you can do it.. cheers stay positive 👍🏕

Sorry about the treehouse! but you can rebuild it....maybe even better!
I killed a nest of wasps using Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) which I made using Iron Sulphide and Hydrochloric acid - though I appreciate that you would not have had those (and the apparatus) to hand. I got stung a couple of times too. I poked a tube into the nest and fed the gas into it. You have to be very careful with H2S as it is very poisonous.

I don’t think you buried the fridge container deep enough. It needs to be deep to get cold.

Reminds me of the time I siphoed the gas out of my car. Dead of winter. Cold as hell. Car wouldn't start. Thought it would be a good idea to warm up my gas on the stove. Still don't have one eyebrow. "Rebuild. Lesson learned".
