@JohnDoeSec I agree, it is very different, I started using Parrot OS about 2 years ago. At first, it was quite annoying, but once I started utilizing it, using the tools within, it is my go-to, Black Arch is also my secret weapon of arsenal 😈.
I second this, I run Arch with Blackarch repositories (I use wireshark and a few misc things) and I couldn't hack my way out of a wet paper bag with a machete.
The real thing I am concerned about is if it is still being updated. Last time we had a major update for BlackArch was in 2023. I believe you can install it on top of an existing Arch system, which is pretty much of a reason why I would choose it over Kali.
your contents are fun to watch brotha, keep the work up 🍻 and about this video, tbh i always say best distro for hacking is either something simple like debian or arch, so that u either write your own tools or at least learn whats going on when u installing ready tools, but i ever want to use a distro made for hacking, blackarch is definitely my first choice
Whats cool about blackarch is that you can download it on top of an existing OS that is arched based so if you have manjaro or endeavour or just plain arch you can download it on top of it
Boss, could you please create a comprehensive video series covering advanced topics such as advanced time based blind SQL injection injection, XSS, LFI, RFI, and RCE, including the process of uploading web shells on Apache and IIS web servers in live website scenarios? Traditional platforms like test.vulner, DVWA, bWapp, PortSwigger, etc., fail to address real-world challenges like identifying origin IPs, DNS brute force attacks, reverse IP lookups, WAF/IDS/IPS circumvention, AWS/CDN/Tor, reverse proxies, and CMS security 🤙. Your unique content would be invaluable in educating the bug bounty hunting community about genuine issues and solutions. Thanks in advance for your contributions to the community.
Hello! Yes, I'm currently in the process of covering these topics however it takes time because I like to give You guys as much detail and information as possible And it takes a little bit time for me to cover these topics and make sure I educate You guys how stuff works I will be covering these topics whenever I have time! Thank You for commenting
its not true that it does not have "ui" even though i think you meant on desktop environment since you ware obviously using one called fluxbox which isnt really desktop environment but instead its window manager but you can still install normally xfce or whichever environment you are used to normally
Well, it's personal preference and matters what you're plan for Linux is. If you want to do some pentesting, then Blackarch. (It's a pentesting distro) If you want a regular O/S then Arch Linux sounds good!
@@JohnDoeSecthat's exactly what it is. Kali Slim and Kali Full exist. Kali slim is what most people use, but you can install the rest of the tools if you want and have all 1800. Its like 30gb or something massive like that
@@JohnDoeSecI’m offended lol. It took me some getting used too but it’s way better than kali and I love it. It beats Kali on every level, except for the community.
I can't really answer this question as I have used Parrot a couple times and I absolutely hate it. I love using Kali, it's simple to use and I just love it. BlackArch is for more advanced users. And it has a lot of tools inside it. It's up to the user really, You would have to see what works for You!

Its not the system, its the hacker, their knowledge of utilizing the tools of any particular OS.
Thats true, but I still find Blackarch cool and a bit different than Standard Linux or Windows

this what you talked about it changing your ip is done through redirecting all traffic over tor and on black arch that is usually done via torctl

also forgot to mention, u may wanna install i3 for wm or maybe xfce for desktop, even though i would say go with i3 + rofi, its minimal and clean

i can't imagine a world where hackers need 600 tools
Yeah, 600 is quite a lot haha
@@JohnDoeSec Yeah, I barely use 25 tools max. Out of those 25 I use like 7-10 more frequently then the rest.
True but better to have them and not need them then not have them and spend hours trying to find them ive been there and done that it isnt fun

I've been experimenting with this distro for a few months and most of the "tools" are mostly commands and automation scripts.
Black arch is pretty good. Tbh I kinda miss the old black and red theme.😕 But other then that’s it’s a good system.
I also missed that stunning old theme
