I like your idea if potholders I was thinking placemats for a summers day. Or something smaller to patch jeans. I love the possibilities!
These are all wonderful ideas!!
I want to try them all 💕 thank you for sharing 💕
That looks like a lot of fun. I have done a little bit of weaving, but I think I should do much more. These are beautiful, and I love the embroidery stitch you added to it.
I love this little rabbit hole you have wandered down. I. Definitely going to try this technique. Love them. ❤️❤️🌺
I love when you jump into the rabbit hole. This time with both feet or four if your the rabbit I love this almost better than the last one. That occasional pop of red really sets it off. Maybe lay a piece of parchment paper over the top when ironing the material. It might make the glide over smoother. Really love the out come it’s beautiful. Thanks for sharing your rabbit hole.
Hi 🤩
Thank you so much for the tips. Why wouldn’t I try parchment paper. Sometimes I can’t see in front of me!!!
I am going to blame the Rabbit 🤪😂🤪 Hope you are enjoying your creativity 💕
beautiful work - a great idea for using scraps - I would try my hand on making a basket weave runner for Diwali 🥰
Lovely video thanks. You could stitch fusible interfacing to background glue side up to stop fraying on quilting cotton. Wonder what seldvedges would look like with words, neutral colours and fringe. Good strips for wrapping around embroidery hoops. Also card fronts. So pretty
that’s was awesome, i have some fabric from old jeans and bdu pants that i’ll use with various florals. i was just wondering today what to use them for!
I enjoyed watching this so much, great alternative to my hand sewing tiny (EPP-ing) squares together. Love the demonstration of fancy stitch I'd been wondering if small pieces could carry that and it does, looks beautiful. Thank you 💖
Thank you… I keep telling myself you don’t know unless you try… so I’m giving myself the gift of trying. ❤️
@@Reignvermont So grateful for your share, when decorating season (summer in Scotland) is over I will definitely try, I'm so excited. Thank you 🌷🌷
That was soooo fun - thank you. I wanted to ask - do you have a favorite regarding the backing fabric and the fusing fabric?
Hi… I think I like the Thermolam the best right now. It adds soft plushness to the project 💕
Where did you get your little iron? I love your crafts!
Hi 💕 Thanks you ♥️
The little iron is a “cricut” brand iron. Hope this helps!
So pretty ! But I’m new to your channel, and curious - how come you have all those Liberty strips ? Did you buy bigger bits and cut them up ? Do you purchase them ready-cut ? Where do you get them from, please ?
Hi… The Liberty of London scraps are from my mask making during Covid. My Partner helped me with cutting. I was like “wait!!! We can’t throw that out!!! “
A silver lining from Covid 💕
This is really great idea! Would it help your weaving if you starched your strips real good before hand? This way your fabric would be stiffer.
I thought about starch after 🤪 Will maybe have to try. Thank you for sharing 💕
Love this! How wide are the strips of fabric? What is the brand of sewing machine that you have? Thank you.
Hi :) The fabric strips I am using range from 1/4" to 1/2". My sewing machine is a "Baby Lock Ellageo Plus". Thank you for asking :))
you make weaving loo k so easy! i love your work.
