👆 The NEW Sequential Take 5, is an extremely powerful polyphonic analogue synthesiser. Today, Jack goes over some of the features & sounds this synth has to offer. When you think about analogue synths, you think Sequential Take 5. | tinyurl.com/yhocbwtl

The Take 5 is an extremely powerful tool in your arsenal. This beast of a synth is a 5-voice Poly Synth with 2 VCOs and a sub oscillator per voice, a classic 4-pole resonant analog filter from the Prophet-5 rev 4 design & 44 full-size keys on a premium Fatar keybed. The synth's key-split feature also allows you to divide the 3.5 octave keyboard into two different zones. To top it all off, you will have access to dual digital effects and FM synthesis, to experience all the nuances of Sequential power, from vintage to modern!

I watch these videos because I enjoy watching you play. The product demos are just an added bonus.
Jack and the Falcon back together ❤️ what a player Jack!
You made that thing sing. You really illustrate how full five notes can be. Very well played.
Your show us the best demonstration of this unit what I have ever seen on this channel. Thank you dude! ❤️👍👌🎹
Almost a gig by Jack! Need a walk around of the studio to see what kit they have there....
Great stuff! Knowing the Maltese Falcon is perched in the wings, watchful and waiting, brings me joy as well.
Jack always gets me GAS'ed up
Great demo. I never jumped on the analog resurgence bandwagon, but this keyboard sounds really good - just the fix to satisfy those with an analog craving!
wow that was some serious impro my friend !!! :D
Great sound and great playing :)
Thanks !
ps: "let's play some more" indeed !!!
Love your playing and your reviews. Keep on the good work. This Synth is really beautiful
Top 🔝 playing....You took the Take 5 into iconic mode. Keep doing what you are doing! Bravo!
Great job as always Jack. Falcon I’m liking the enthusiasm 👍
awesome Jack💪🏻...that performance at 6:47 was huge...Yazoo coming in...thanks for a great demo it was 10 mins of godness...cheers
Thanks Jack. Love what you and the Falcon do here. Informative and inspiring.
Love the Take 5 & hope to get one soon. I opted for the Jupiter Xm first as it checked a few boxes with its battery operation and included speakers.
I mostly come here for the falcon, but must admin that Jack playing that synth is definitely something, too.. I will come back, as always.
If could play like Jack I would buy one of these! Sounds fantastic and not actually that expensive for a sequential.
Yep, the price was surprisingly good
That thing sounds ok. Great vid as usual. The sounds you made took me back to 1978. Love it.
Wonderful set! The synth sounds great too.
wow you really made that thing say "buy me!"
Cool demo, Jack! Thanks
Amazing as always!
Love the noises coming out of this thing man. I must say I loved the vibe of your playing today as well 👌🏻 Perfect for the sound. I hope this was just a shorter video and you and the Maltese Falcon will be back to the usual space and usual videos too???
the new set looks gorgeous
My god, Jack. That was wonderful.
Great playing!
oooh nice trumpety pad around 6:10
Excellent demo!
I'll take 6 😃 . Great show and a fantastic instrument
Sounds amazing! I wannit.
damn those were some good melodic progressions
HUGE SOUND for the price!!👍
Brilliant playing!. Please can you give an update on your journey to buying a polysynth? (I think you previouly mentioned this in the UDO Super 6 video). I've love to know either what you got, or what you latest thoughts are.
Yes. Update please J man....?
Gimme the Take 10, or the 5x2.
…and bring back the old space. There’s no front facing wide shot in the box
Nice demo though, Jack. Sweet chord progs
Watch in 4K? I'm lucky to get 240p when I’m watching on the lav.
btw you're the first UA-camr to impress me with the Take 5 😃
nice space yall got there. I've been really procrastinating over this one or a pro3. I want a sequential synth but idk if a take5, pro3 or the rev2 module would fit my needs most, or should i skip everything and just get a Nymphes and JU06a. I need some inspiration and i havent had it with what i currently use in over a year.
It's all about the sound, if it sounds like it would be suitable to your compositions then go for it. I have checked out polys for 12 months and this is the one for me, hands down.
I got a Rev2 second hand 16 voice .... it does all this (take 5) but more. I only got a korg wavestate (again second hand bargin as it kills peoples minds in complexity apparently) as a second option because it can do the really cinematic stuff which REV2 cant. I now have Deluge (drums sequencing, effects and extra synths) rev2 and wavestate.... my daw-less setup is complete.
@@russ254 Cheers mate.. I have been patiently waiting and saving for UBXA as the last piece of the puzzle but all quiet on the Berrnger front .... Need SEM goodness, and could never afford to own nor run a real OBXA.....
@@passivehouseaustralia4406 my guess is they're revising it to have effects onboard.
@@electrosonicnebula adding the effects is easy. Just some AD/DA converters and a DSP chip. My guess is that they have to find affordable ways to imitate the circuitry with cheaper components. Oberheim never skimped on components like op amps and output transformers. Pretty challenging to recreate a synth like that as a cheaply made, mass-market product.
Take 5, minilogue xd or Juno X?
that overdrive towards the end. oof
Please use short automatic ads.
I have a super 6, model d, and a Juno 106. I’m debating getting a pro one from behringer for that ‘prophet’ sound. Thoughts?
A mono synth may struggle to give you the ‘prophet’ sound.
I had the Pro-1 and own the P6 and owned the Rev2. Behringer Pro1 sounds nothing like a Prophet - more like a FL Studio Stock Synth back in the 2000s
Does it have aftertouch?
yes
Jack🙈😌
Go Ducks.
sounds cheap
i love it
btw you are the most american lookin Brit ive ever seen lol
