That's such a pleasant coincidence that you are posting these videos now, as I am seriously considering buying this model. However, I am also in the process of having to get my motorcycle license to ride it here in Canada. Super helpful videos! Thank you :)
hey I saw your comment. I live in Canada as well, Toronto to be exact. I have a basic electric scooter and I have been searching the internet to upgrade to an ebike. long story short, I saw this bike on Amazon and thought this will be an eye turner. So I read a lot of reddit reviews, which didn't really help. Anyways, did you end up buying this model. In my city, I still drive my scooter to work and other place in my area. Police have literally passed me while I was going 30kmh. No cap. I think I'll be okay with the bike as long as I not drive it to match the speed of traffic. I just want to know if I get it, will it work, does it have the suspension and if on rare chance ,I wanted to match the flow of traffic, can it do that. Is if good up hills etc etc.
While lithium ion batteries performance can be affected by the cold, they’re not in any danger as a tesla battery for example could be subject to well below freezing temperatures. Additionally, lithium ion batteries have the potential to catch fire and should be stored safely in a fireproof bag in a garage outside of the house.
I charged up the battery, unplugged it and put it in my closet inside the house. The main reason I selected this bike is because it has removable battery and I can keep it in the house during the winter.
@@jennylee9946 as long as you’re aware of the potential fire risk. There’s a reason why airlines don’t allow large lithium batteries on board. if there’s any damage, defect or a short circuit in the battery, it can catch fire and can’t be put out with an extinguisher. Watch some UA-cam videos of e.v. batteries catching fire. It’s no joke.
@@jennylee9946 batteries catching fire is somewhat rare but there’s a lot of stake if you have a large fully charged battery sitting in a closet in your house especially with family and pets.
Try buying a rear view mirror for the bike. It is one of the best upgrades you could do! Next best upgrade for me was a bluetooth speaker for the bike so I can listen to music. My bluetooth speaker is 20W and I would not recommend anything less than that. Enjoy and keep up the good work!
I’m definitely buying a rearview mirror! It’s almost a necessity. I’ll look at the speakers as well. I have a friend that has some he’s trying to get rid of, so I might check those out. Thanks!
I was just about to comment about the shifter but it looks like others got here 1st. Dont worry about keeping the speed mode on one, thats more for mid drive motors so you dont break the chain with too much power. For hub motors you just need to worry about popping a wheelie like Simon Cowell from America's Got Talent who broke his back from. Your bike does not have the power to do an involuntarily Wheeling so you should be good
Please see what you get for an inside measurement for silver bolt back tire. measurement for threaded bolt. Crazy ..tad more than 1/2 in. And. In between 13 and14 mm
I'm shocked they didn't light you up using that on a sidewalk. Where I am in Alaska they made it to where gas powered bicycles over (49cc) and high powered e-bikes (over 25) have to use the furthest most right part of the road. The irony of boomers blowing past a 250w 10 mph e-bike on their 7000 dollar road bikes with manual brakes at 28 mph screaming about safety though.
Why are you shutting down and going woah! Your other videos are motorcycles. I mean I don’t get what you are woahing and turning off PAS for, you have breaks use them. Your gears have no relationship to the 5 electric modes, that’s why it’s called pedal assist. You don’t need no assist one you pedal too fast. You would want a geared mid drive bike to use the bike gears, the higher the gear, the faster you go
Bike sounds great and has good power. A good helmet and gloves and a left mirror a must!
Its 7 gears for the shifting of the chain not the speed modes of the motor

You’re very welcome glad I can help. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. It’s been quite a busy summer.
I would recommend keeping your e-bike battery inside and not letting it freeze while not being used.

@@jennylee9946 It appeared you didn’t remove the battery until “Day 3”, since you still had the keys fastened to the handlebars.

Great looking ebike 🚵⚡👍
Somehow I stumbled onto your channel and I’m happy because your videos are awesome and I love the e-bike content. Please keep the videos coming! 😁
Once the weather warms up, I definitely will! Thank you
5:09 that's the assist level. Your gear shifter is on the right side.
Nice Ebike 👍🏾👍🏾
Looks fun

I want one of these bikes can u please let me know how it's been for u I appreciate it alot
I bought this bike aswell, i tried connecting it to the app but it needs a gps number, have you been able to figure it out?
I'm interested in buying this bike. Could you perhaps make more videos on it?
I plan to. We’re getting into the cold temps and currently in having a blizzard, but plan to do more in the Spring :)
Wow... that bike can really go fast, but it looks very stable. I was wondering, can the bike hit 33 mph?
Yes it can! At least for me. It may depend on your weight but I think most people can get to 33 mph. I hit 34 at max.
Very nice. Stay safe while exploring the neighborhood and enjoy.

Does the battery have to be taken out to be recharged?
No
