What unit/clan is this?
This is my unit, the Cadian XXth. Casual milsim, roleplay and all those weird ops that you never get to play in your normal milsim group. It can be found in the discord: / discord

What is this mod?
A combination of There is Only War, Grimdark Armoury and Imperial Conquest, the three main 40k mods for ArmA 3.

I wish. Video definitely has inspiration from the likes of Soviet and Max0r, but I try to strike a nice line for telling a story, humorous edits and actual gameplay. I try to put out a video every three days, hence why not every single video will be a Fustercluck or not as long or detailed as I'd like. Time constraints are a problem.

This could almost be a Cain novel. Ciaphas lands on some agri-world, meets a friendly young guard captain, and starts helping him to clear it of rebels and xenos. But as the war drags on seemingly interminably, the bright young captain grows steadily more unhinged. with the execution of the wounded, Cain becomes truly worried for what the captain will do next. This erratic leadership will surely bring the campaign to ruin. It ends with Cain attempting to relieve the captain of duty, only for the captain to unload on him, frothing at the mouth about how Cain is a traitor too, and Cain has to decapitate him and take command in the final assault.

And there is also a sub-plot about a group of traitors within the imperial ranks, who have defected to T'au and sabotaged most of the human ammunition, making it next to useless

@@somedudethatwatches7834 That lasguns fail to impress against most enemies of the Imperium is a testament to the foes it has. Against the evolved and substantially more survivable Human of the far future, it does nasty things. Including removing limbs.
Whereas Orks are literally engineered for combat, Tau have authorial fiat, the Eldar are contemporaries of the Orks albeit now militia, the Necrons have wizards through science, the Tyranids have numbers and are also built for combat...

Rimmy that is how it actually is as a guardsman, you even found out how the chaos gods seep into your mind while you lose what little sanity you had to start off with
Naah, lasguns are actually good against people and one of the most used weapons in imperium.
Those were PDF and they SHOULD be destroyed by 1-2 shots from acatran lasgun.
(PDF are usually equipped with autoguns and shitty version of flak armor)
(Acatran are used in Elysian forces, which are heavy infantry. Acatran has higher firerate than galaxy or kantrael pattern)

Oh my god, Digby as Ciaphas Cain is a beautiful thing. As is the Ciaphas Cain theme music-- seriously, Alfabusa and Co. are legends among legends for quality and fun of the content. That said, if you can ever nail down Takahata, a scenario where he plays Cain and everyone else basically carries him to victory/covers his retreats would be absolutely 100/10.
Not too long ago I learned that "Digby Tatham-Werner" was an actual person, who is best remembered for leading a bayonet charge during WW2 whilst wearing a bowler hat and brandishing an umbrella. And later using said umbrella to blind a German tank driver by poking it through the front vision slit and into his eyes.
Previously, I had assumed he'd just strung together the most British-sounding name he could think of, but, now knowing his inspiration, a lot of things about UA-cam Digby suddenly make a lot more sense...

I can't believe I met Commissar Cain in action today.
He took 2 morphine shots reserved for a dying private without even sayin' anything before storming off the camp.
