- A look at my new Scout LT from Simple Shot USA. This frame shoots ott, ttf, flat bands, and tubes. It has an intuitive clip system, is customisable with different colour removable scales and comes in various colours. All on all, a brilliant and usable slingshot / catapult (depending on where you live). Very compact and fits in your pocket for every day use. Tough, light and rugged.

Very nice tool.
The LT is my favourite frame of all , the Seljan Cleaver is grand too and my GKs too but this slingshot ticks ALL THE BOXES.

I have a scout too, unfortunately it doesn't suit me as well as this one simply due to the 100mm outer measurement and the way I aim. Still an absolute classic.

Thumbscrews looks to be a better way to tighten up the Flip Clips than the stock 1/4x20 UNC screws.
It'd be nice if those clips were spring loaded. I wonder if it's possible. Great review btw.
I don't like spring clips myself, I'm sure they could be fitted though.

Very nice...I was looking at the new Lt scout pro...but they say it's made in Vietnam..which seemed strange to me as simple shot prides itself on being all 💯 American.
I'm not from the USA myself and I'm not a big fan of nationalism either really. It makes no difference where a product is made to me, so long as it is of the specification quoted. SimpleShot is an American company however, and their service is second to none in my experience. What I'm not happy about is this frame being sold as limited edition, but then marketed as part of the normal line up i.e. Pro Series. I do not like when companies do this trick. It devalues the limited edition, not in a financial way...in a pride of ownership way. It's a damn shame.

160mm and 15-10mm taper here.

Do they come with the clips or do you have to buy them separately? The frames almost the same shape as the ms hunter my favourite catty.
They come with the clips.
Great stuff. Can you get spare bands for it anywhere in the UK?
I make my own bands, but you can buy sets ready made off a few people. Waspslingshots.co.uk and cattyshack.co.uk for example.
