Jaishankar Russia visit can be seen when Russian President Vladimir Putin broke the protocol and had a cordial meeting with Dr. Jaishankar. Russia supports India’s position for a multipolar world and a permanent seat for India in United Nations Security Council. When both leaders met, President Putin said and I quote, “I am very happy to see you in Moscow. I know you have a big programme and much work ahead on interaction with our country in both the Intergovernmental Commission and the Foreign Ministry. Everything is in your hands, and I must say we are doing a good job overall - judging by all, with your direct support.
