Would you know about American missionaries that lived there in the 1980s from the Bible Missionary Church. They lived in the mission house in Georgetown and for a time up in the Northwest area called Mabaruma and then came back to Georgetown but lived in a different missionary house. I have seen several videos of people driving around Georgetown filming wondered if the mission house is still there? Would anybody know this of the missionary family of four children live there until 1984?
I was asking if anybody knew of the missionaries from the Bible Missionary Church the last time we were living there was in 84 from there we move to Venezuela where my youngest brother was born it would just be need to find out if anybody remembered missionaries living in Georgetown during that time. We didn't have anything to do with the killing of those people by that Jones man we were missionaries. We lived in two different houses and had multiple areas where we were having church services we lived in Georgetown and Mabaruma for a time before moving to Venezuela where my parents continued the mission work

This is not sustained fishing and should be discontinued.The Guyana Govt. should set limits, size and season and charge for a fishing licence. The money garnered should be used for enforcement and replenishing fishing stocks. No fishing for certain species when they are spawning season should be included

Danny next time you’re in the USA must go to Bass Pro and get lures in the Firetiger color. Fish it just like FishPro with short jerks. Also you guys should get a rubber coated landing net to avoid so much tangles when you net your catch.

Danny - the guys you were shouting at on the sand bank whilst going up river are part of my fishing crew. One of the guys were leaving for the States so they went to try their luck for a Ciana or Skeete (sweet water Gillbaker). These fish feed in the day and in the deep. You can't find a Himara in the day at that location, further up in a cool spot under a tree maybe.You really enjoyed yourself catching those lukanani (Peacock Bass).in that one spot. Go get them champ.

Can you swim in the rivers there ? What about Piranhas etc . Is malaria prevalent in the area you’re fishing ?
Yes you can swim but there are piranhas in some places no there were no mosquitoes where we go fishing.
