Hey There, DJI official stores, Big Camera, Powerbuy, Banana are the leading stores in Thailand and are available in all major cities. Just walk in to the central mall(they have in every city) and buy. Yes, most of them accept Diner and AMEX.

Only air asia we have direct flights to dmk. By the way does dji release every year mini series of drone? In that case next year I will pick up dji mini 4 pro. Dji pocket 3 too is tempting. Since I am just going to start youtube channel better I use go pro 8 for a year.
There should be no problem as I bought my drone from both Chennai, Coimbatore and Bangalore airport. Since it's under 250gms drone is not a problem but purchase value of over 50k INR. Just act normal and bring it in multiple bags if needed.You will be fine. Many of those who commented on my drone videos have successfully passed the customs.

Hi Akash, I have been through Mumbai airport several times. There is a security check by customs just after the baggage area. If you keep drone and remote/batteries separate in different bags. There shouldn't be a problem. Remember customs stops imported goods with boxes or brand new bought to India as it's. Through the box, keep the drone in check in bag securely and rest in hand bag. @@NomadicExploristais it mandatory to walk through customs. I remember in 2019 we can just walk out. But in 2020 when I went to Sri Lanka they forced the crowd to scan bags while exiting airport. All experience shared is Chennai Airport. Will it be OK to ask airport customs while departing from India whether I can bring dji mini 4 pro ?
The process is once you land, collect your check in baggage and proceed toward custom exit. Most of the times they will ask you to put hand baggage in scanner since checked in baggage is already scanned. Just put your hand baggage and proceed. They are mostly looking for extra liquor, gold and gadgets with boxes/unpacked. Keep your drone in the check in bag. Carry batteries in hand baggage. You will be fine. They will be alarmed only if you carry products as brand new. Through the box, you won't need it anyways.

I know it has been a month since I posted any video. I was traveling extensively in Vietnam and now that I'm back in India for a few weeks. I will be completing Bali series before starting Vietnam which was shot on Pocket 3. I'm addicted to pocket 3 now and find it difficult to switch to any other camera. videos will be coming regulary now. Thank you for following :)
Bro, you may have to look at second hand GoPro. I understand your budget as a beginner and you may find GoPro 5 to 8 in that range. Check facebook marketplace and put any city pin code you will be visiting.

International warranty is not applicable on DJI products but still you will have a chance to get it repaired in future whenever you or your friends visit Thailand again in future. Hope I'm clear here

Try using one card, Niyo global or similar cards with zero mark up and real time convertion. In both the ways it will be less than forex currency exchange.

@@navin6555 unfortunately not every store offer VAT refund in Vietnam. Also the process is very hectic compare to Thailand or Dubai. 5% refund you get on purchase above 5 Million VND I believe.

It's safe. One of the cases and luck also. Try to keep drone in another hand bag and batteries in another. Where are you landing in India?
