Yet Iranians fail to see how these slogans and posters, shouted and plastered all over Iranian cities, are perceived by United Statesians and other Westerners. That slogan does *not* in any way convey a specific condemnation of U.S. foreign policy in Central Asia/the Middle East. It makes "America" into a dehumanized monolith to be scorned and hated, and then calls for the death of that monolithic entity. "America", which contextually means the United States, is a country full of 325 million people, most of whom have never had any ill will toward any Iranian in their lives. I really liked the melody (beautifull and strong), I don't know about the message though.. All this revenge and declaring war to each other, will never lead to peace. Only way to peace is to forget your honour and concentrate on grace and forgiveness. The problem isn't the people in America the problem is the Israeli stronghold and the politicians that serve them but let's not act like your country doesn't suffer from extremism either. Either way many innocents will die while the rich sit back and use that as a fuel to further their goals on both sides.
Brother I agree that their government are definitely no saints but we pretty much started the cycle with them in 1953, and alot of our beef with them is not over our interests but Israels and over trying to undermine their security interests in THEIR backyard. Of course their govnt needs big reform AT LEAST in their behaviour towards their people and their civil liberties. Theocracy is bullshit. But thats their internal business to sort is what Im often told by the many Iranians I have met in the last 20 years, most of whom are anti their govnt. Of course there were only 2 who wanted us to invade but thats out of probably roughly 70 or so that I’ve met. both seemed to support some woman I forget.

I really liked the melody (beautifull and strong), I don't know about the message though.. All this revenge and declaring war to each other, will never lead to peace. Only way to peace is to forget your honour and concentrate on grace and forgiveness. (And yes, I come from a country which also was attacked by a bigger and stronger country and my granparents lost many of their firends and family in that war.. Still, the only way to peace is the grace and forgiveness..)
