Review: Valco Baby Neo Twin Stroller

- OMGosh, this is my first side-by-side double stroller and it is a dream. Seat backs tall enough to accommodate my 95th percentile height toddlers (with grow room), large canopies to shade the girls from the harsh California sun, expansive under basket, glide push thanks to the air filled/all-terrain tires, and frame width sized to allow the stroller to fit through standard door frames= yes, please!
*Note: this is the second upload/version of this review. The first version was live, for ~19 hours, and was met with excellent views and comments, but I wanted to add in a clip of how I pop open the stroller from the back of my SUV (as I received several requests for this piece). Hi, can you please confirm that the seat to canopy is 28” ? I watched another video and she said it’s 25”. I am debating between this and the duo trend and that’s the only thing that’s stopping me from making a decision. Please let me know when you have time. Thank you so much!
Hi, I like all your videos, very helpful! between the neo twin and the trimode x duo, which one would you say has a smother ride (suspension) in gravel and dirt road? And which one do you prefer for overall comfort? Thanks!
Hello! I am so sorry I am just seeing your comment/question now. I think the Trimode has a better ride and suspension, but it is a much much heavier push. For daily quick trips I would use a Neo Twin, but for longer trips (Disneyland, etc) I would take the Trimode and just know it can be a bit more cumbersome (but, the girls love it!).
Which stroller do you prefer - the Neo Twin or the snap duo trend???
I love them both, but I prefer the Snap Duo Trend just slightly because I love the zippered pockets on the back of each seat and the molded foot well. :) Plus, the dark grey fabric (one of the options) it comes in is divine!
Perpetual Mommy do you think the ride is different? Because the new twin has air tires? does the new twin fit in your pilot on the 3/4 seat like the snap duo does? I am seriously debating between them.
The push of the Neo Twin is slightly more glidey than on the Snap Duo Trend (although you can buy air tires for the Snap Duo Trend)-- both of the strollers have an excellent push, you really can't go wrong with either one. As for how they fit in my Pilot- basically the same fit as the width, etc, is the same for both strollers. ;)
Perpetual Mommy does the snap duo trend have the same "T" bar on the push bar that you attach your fuel cell to on the neo twin? Which stroller has a better storage basket underneath - easier to get in to? Can you do a comparison video on these two strollers?
MOMMIN AINT EASY The prototype Snap Duo Trend that I demo'd did not have a T bar on the handle like the Neo Twin (as that is where the one handed fold button is). Unfortunately, I am unable to do a comparison video of the Snap Duo Trend and Neo Twin as I don't own a Snap Duo- I just had the demo stroller for a few months to play around with.
Do you ever use it in stores? Is it too wide to go down isles or between clothing racks at say Target?
Love this stroller for stores-- the Snap Duo Trend and the Neo both fit through every door jam. The Neo has been to Target more times than I can remember, and it is perfection. (As a reference- I can push it between the check-out stands at Target and at Ralphs-- fits through narrow openings. Hope this helps. :)
Can the straps be lowered?
