I’m just hearing this song for the first time in September 2024. And oh my 🙌🏾🙌🏾 the timing of God is perfect. This came on right after I finished having a conversation with a young lady from church about the importance of drawing close and staying close to God! Let me just say I was blown away how the words connected to the conversation. So of course I have to share it with her. Thank you for this beautiful worship. May you be continuously blessed 🙌🏾🙏🏾.
I went to a glorious event called Teens Encounter Christ and during the vespers night we were told to take time for ourselves and let God in. And I am not a crier but when this song was playing I was looking at the cross that hung high in the church and thought he really never let's us go. And I just started bawling my eyes out. I let the Holy Spirit in. It was the most beautiful thing ever. God bless you guys!

In preparation for a message entitled "Mouth-to-Mouth Resusitation," God supernaturally gave me the melody behind "You're not a distant God." I didn't even know your names, I only remembered that you were a white, married couple! He just gave me that one melody, I had no others and no lyrics! It took me over an hour to find this song. I searched for Gospel duos and there you were!! This song, that message and Matt 4 blessed our church service. I cherish God's beautiful leading and this song and HIS closeness remains in our hearts! May He continue to bless your lives abundantly!

On Monday November 28th I received "the dreaded" phone call. A disabled Army veteran with terminal prostate cancer "Kentucky Ron" who lived almost 5 years with my husband and me in California had died while visiting his dysfunctional alcoholic son Nathan. The sole purpose was to witness the love and saving grace of Jesus Christ. After several rejections I believe Kentucky gave up and Jesus lovingly took him "home". I am devastated! I am a retired RN and had cared for Kentucky and he wanted me to Hospice him in California since his adult boys told him that they would "place him" in a home. Kentucky bought a plane ticket and sent me the info on when to pick him up in Sacramento. Kentucky went to his sisters for Thanksgiving and he sent me a beautiful photo of the two of them. He looked good! He left to hurry home to meet up with his boys for pie and ice cream. Nathan was a "no show" (again)... he and younger son Elliott arranged to get together Monday November 28th 2022. Elliott "found his body". Elliott is a Christian. After this guy wrenching phone call from his sister my phone "turned on" to this song "YOU NEVER LET GO"..this song has comforted me greatly as Kentucky said he did not want to die alone. Now Kentucky has been lovingly released from all his cancer, strife and concerns. He is in His presence...THANK YOU for this song. I still cry every time I listen. This will be played at his celebration of life in the spring. God had a better plan. I need to remember that as I go thru his belongings he left here...God truly blessed me to have me find yor song.
