If I could redo mine I would choose leather on the seats because I didn't realize how hot and wet I would get with Racetex. A good mod to do is to replace the shifter knob with a leather boot and knob from the RS.
I know you didn’t gel with the PPN, Matt, but I can’t wait to get mine. It’s replacing my 997 Turbo which has been gone about a month now. I miss it, but not as much as I thought. I know you love manual NA power, I’m the opposite. I love torque and grip. AWD turbo auto G80 is the M5 I never owned, and looking forwarding to using it with the family. When you have a 16 year old that’s 6’4”, a 997 doesn’t work well!

This is a great car. I ordered mine in GT Silver this past April and picked it up a few weeks ago. I have a very similar spec except I went with manual and the 18 ways for this car since it wasn’t a true GT car and figured I’d set it up more as a tourer for my wife and I. For OAPs, think I am going with the Flat6 version with the heat shielding and maybe the Soul Valved back box; still deciding. Hope you do a video when you install the spacers so I can copy what you do. Keep making the great Porsche vids!

I wouldn't trust a borrower to wash it. I would have a mobile detailer come and you add it to the cost of the borrow. Just me, because I am assuming your borrowers haven't washed a car in their life lol. Badass car!
When you rent a car one key thing they won't tell you when renting note ! The use of a major credit card used for renting the visa Mastercard and many more will cover collision coverage and theft you name it its coverd but you have to file the claim quick asp as I'm not sure you have 30 days from time of event. So you as the owner may have a easy route to not being fully responsible for any problems but your investment is safe. not sure but the coverage may apply regardless of who's name is on the card when renting vrs the actual owner

Looks good. I would have went slightly used Spyder though if you couldn’t get an allocation. I have a hard time getting excited about the GTS, even though it has the 4.0 in it. It still doesn’t seem as special or unique as a GT car.
I think he was referring to me generally figuring out how to get what I want and then turning it into a business. I bought the car, created a corporation to own it, then figured out how to generate income while also depreciating the purchase.

Pulling both paddles does put it into neutral Matt. It’s also worth doing the GT4RS shifter swap.
It's so weird, I have a 2021 GTS 4.0, and pulling both paddles does NOT put mine in neutral, yet, I see people online doing it all of the time.
