It doesn't matter if you call them trousers, pants, kecks, slacks, britches, pantaloons , leg shirts, shin warmers or cock covers . It's time to put it all to one side and join together as one! ❤️ ps sorry for saying pants instead of trousers 😔
Everyone loves you 👍🏻👍🏻 I’m sure it’s only bants x you out so much into your vids and provide much needed enjoyment in these dark times 👍🏻 keep the going pant king 😂😂xxx
These are the kind of reviews I want to see more on UA-cam. Not the instagram airsoft larper types who expect you to believe they've fully reviewed a sparkling clean piece of kit with zero dirt. This man shows off two pairs of pants that were clearly run hard and loved and lived in.
It was my 50th birthday yesterday, and so I could do whatever I liked for the day. Sofa. Haze Outdoors. Press play. Laugh. Have a beer. Thanks for a great day Hazo. Of course I had a party too btw! Only you could make a vid about trooosers watchable, fun and informative. Stay safe big man.
Can 100% recommend the montane gear, have been wearing there kit for a number of years and if anything Goes wrong with their kit they have a lifetime guarantee and will fix things for you. I do like the look of the fjallraven gear as well.
Can't get enough HAZY.... Tomorrow best socks, next day best gloves..... Let's go. :) Oh hey also making stuffed portabella mushrooms tonight for dinner...
I have two pairs of vidda pro trousers great trousers. All fjällräven stuff is pretty good i have jackets that are about 20 years old and still going strong.
Good morning from the PNW! I’ve used and abused my fjalleaven’s, a good pair of carhartt ripstop pants worked great before I saved up enough for the Vida’s, at 50 USD they won’t break the bank. Plus they are my work pants for the mill anyways haha
Got the haglofs rugged 2 mountain pants in 2017 and have been all over the world in them...they are the best pants I've owned and blow fjallraven out the water
Looking to upgrade from my current trousers I wear all the time. Fishing, walking, out for food 😅. Going to give the montane or the scruffs a go thanks.
Looking at the fabric of the Fjallraven, they're the same composition as Scruffs Worker trousers. There must be a difference though because Scruffs are £35 and Fjallravens are £100+
Not even watched yet but had to share the fact that I am sampling Northern monk faith tonight and it's a lovely drop - thanks for bringing it to my attention
Loved this! Always great to have the wild card for us beginners ! God bless you in these troubled times you little northern monk! Do hiking boots wild card, starter kits etc! Pin pin!
Hi Hazy, started following you last week and thoroughly enjoying watching your vids. Started watching your 14 days in the Highlands on the Cape Wrath trail and have to say you made me very homesick as I'm from that part of the world. Love your banter on the vids. Keep it going as long as you can bud. Sean.
Hi Haze, love your free spirited ✌ I never new, that (Pants) Trousers.....could be so interesting ☺ well done 😊 stay safe 💝 look forward to your next video💖Xx
I wear Scruffs and Dickies work 'Strides' for more involved adventures. Then Berghaus and other stretchy 'Pantalons' for mountain hikes, scrambling etc. PVC and leather 'Chaps' for parties 😀
I got some Montane Terra pants last year and they are amazing! Previously had much cheaper hiking pants and sorta got sucked in to buying a pair when my local Go Outdoors closed for relocation, so got some at under £60 👍 wouldn’t go back now, super quick to dry, offer good wind resistance, breathable and comfortable all day long. My only regret is not getting a pair sooner. I got the Terra Alpine shorts for summer which are great for a dip in a lake and have enough pockets. Looking at the Super pants for added warmth in winter.
Nice in depth review. I've been using TNF Tibetan Guide "Pants" for Backpacking trips, got them in 1984 and they're still going strong. Nylon, very well built and quick drying. Fjällräven make some excellent gear. Keep well & thanks for all the videos.
I'm a Landscaper too and I 1000% agree with the Scruffs shout 👏 absolute beasts! The Buckler Buckskins are also robust as hell, but they're a bit on the heavy side
Just a quick note to say thanks for all that you give us.... including the rear end views. About to head off on our first hike/camp in 18 months - no travel due to all the lockdowns and restrictions here in Aus for the past almost year. Doing a five day circuit of the Walls of Jerusalem National Park down in Tassie ( Tasmania ). Fingers crossed it's clear as the views from up top can be stunning.
Trouser waxing and connection to your outdoor clothes. No need to explain, LoL, I know that feeling, but if I were to put it into words I'd probably use words like, Nomadic, Rooted, Naturalistic. Love the channel and the honesty you put into the content. Especially in the current climate of overly dense content of people portraying themselves to be something they're not. Cheers Pal.
Top review Hazy boy! I myself have a pair of the Vidda Pros and I have to say they're amazingly comfy, I wore them around the house for 2 days before my wife told me to get a grip, I'm a bit of a THICC boy at 6ft1 and 19 stone and went for the L (long) and they are hugely long in the leg, I do like a slightly baggy trouser as it allows freedom of movement when climbing over rocks, fallen trees, passed out (drunk) comrades, but these I feel would suit anyone 6FT3+. I'm just looking forward to a time when I can finally get them out in the wilderness where they belong!
Seen this vid the other day, bought some scruffs pants today 👍 slightly different to yours and £49 but decent quality and will come in for working on house, fishing etc etc.
I've been using army kaks for the woods and cheap n cheerfuls for the hills for years.. really fancy a pair of them Vida pro's now ! Great review mate.
Both trousers look great. I can only talk for some hiking trousers. I wear the Mountain Equipment Ibex and I’m really pleased with them. No exactly bushcraft tho. Great vid dude ! 👍
Thanks for the in depth review. Definitely will be looking forward to getting both those kinds of pants. Great tip for using the wax to increase for durability and water proofing. Have to say, would have never thought of using them on pants.
I’m a money conscious Yorkshireman. I’ve used (free) Snickers work pants for years, for camping & other outside hobbies (not for hiking). Why not, they have loads of pockets and are well reinforced, where needed. They are made of the same 65/35% materials as branded walking pants and also the olive green lightweight army pants, which are good for hiking too. My dedicated travel/walking pants are Crag-hopper Kiwi.
It doesn't matter if you call them trousers, pants, kecks, slacks, britches, pantaloons , leg shirts, shin warmers or cock covers . It's time to put it all to one side and join together as one! ❤️
ps sorry for saying pants instead of trousers 😔
cock covers hahahaha the only one I never heard before!
I just made it up now

I love you Hazy so every time you said pants instead of trousers I died a bit inside.
😂
I don't know what's real anymore mate. Stay tuned for next weeks sneaker reveiw ✊🍄✊
😂😂👖🩲
Pants are northern, northerners will piss in your sink!
Trousers are southern, southerners will pass out after half a shandy 🤘🍻

Happy birthday my man
I used to always wear German Army moleskins but recently got a pair of Helikon Tex Pilgrim pants . Really impressed with them .
Solognac trousers from decathlon are really awesome and very cheap. They work for a cheapskate like me anyway.
Hazy waffling on about anything camping related...simply great entertainment!
I get my pants from Tesco. Trousers are a bit trickier but I do have a nice pair of Fjallraven which I use when camping.
The "Lundhags" pants are even better! 😉
Far and away the best "If you are new to the channel..." I have ever seen!
Oh and Hazy
Fluff from a tumble drier makes an excellent fire starter especially with vaseline
Had me howling at the comment about skipping through Keswick with a load of bags

I wish I could laugh react to your videos the “don’t forget too...” got me 😂
Well that was pants!!! In the nicest possible way - the Fjällräven Vidda Pro look like they will go nicely with my Barber coats.
Loved this one matey

Sound lovely mate. Enjoy.

Great tip with the work trousers.
The first time a 'pants' video is something good! Nice one;👍
So many vids from my favorite youtuber at the moment, love it
In Yorkshire they're pants.
Just bought a pair of Scruffs on your recommendation. Thanks Hazey.

I’ve had Montane Super Terra Pants for years before that it was my old pair of Combat 95’s from my Army days. Stay safe Hazy all the best 👍
Yessss Hazey I'm literally looking for advice on the very subject keep up the great vids!
Thanks for your review, appreciate that you thrash your gear lol. Fjallraven really need to add YKK zips to the pockets.
Excellent mate, for work I wear scruffs. There's a handy pocket in the leg to stick the magic wand when you get asked to do the impossible
Just stumbled on your great video.. thanks! Which of these is best for size of map pocket? Cheers!!

Have had quite a few brands but I keep returning to my Snickers Workwear pants. Brown with those outside tool pockets/ears. Love them.
Came for ideas on pants, sorted cheers mate

511 Stryke combats are popular down here in Australia.
I rub straight beeswax on them then heat it, works well.

Hi Hazey - Love the work. Just bought a frontline hammock. What size dry bag do you put your hammock and tarp in?
Any experience with craghoppers trousers
I have. Garbage. Don't last 5 minutes. Had two pairs and both were as bad.
