- The apocalypse is here! Grab a weapon and fight for your life! Do what you can to get the equipment you can get, smash doors open and clean out the houses from the dead! Search crates and rooms to equip yourself with even better weapons. But be careful because you do not want to drag too much attention to yourself, the Zombies can hear you and won't stop to hunt you before they have put their teeth into your skin.
In Zombicide you portray a group of survivors trying to make it out of all the worst situations you can think of and it is up to you to move quickly, stay quiet or rampage through the different missions.
In this video: Zombicide 2ed I will give you an overview of the board game and show you how to play the game.

I've seen many "how to's", but yours is easily on my top 3 list. This should be the way to explain any game... "playing".
I usually have to explain games to adults, and I also do it very similarly because this is the way my children understand very quickly.

Awesome video! I purchased 1st edition years ago but never played it.
Having had a motorcycle accident I am now much less mobile for a while and purchased the 2nd edition to paint and play while recovering.

Late to the party, hey I have a question, with weapons that have multiple die used to roll, is each die consider an attack or miss? And what if your weapon does 2 damage and there is 2 walkers in your zone. If you roll 1 hit does the damage disperse to each walker to kill them both?
You are never to late to a board game my friend, you are always just on time ;) If you role 2 die and you get 2 hit you will deal these hits to the zombies in the same zone as you :) So if you have 2 walkers in your zone and you get 2 hits, you have killed them :)

Do picking up objectives count towards item capacity? If I have full backpack and both hands full, can I still pick up the objective?
No that does not count towards your capacity :)
Can you move away from the Abomination with action/slippery also as with the other zombies?
Ah sorry did not see this comment, just saw your other one! Yes you can, and yes that you only can kill them with a motlov cocktail is the worst, but they also have their own special abilities!
Does the zombie activation include every zombie on the board? Even the ones in the dark rooms?

If u are in the room and use your range weapon in other rooms,do you have line of sight on all the rooms that are straight or do you still only have line of sight in a room next to yours?

Rule questions: When in the zombie phase and moving the zombies, let's say there are players in the space to the left and to the right, do you just choose which direction to move the zombie or is there a set direction the zombie must move?
First you check thennoice, if it's the same, then the player chooses :)

35 pages of rules seems like a lot. I dont think my family would be happy about listening to me read for 20-30 min. It looks fun though. I guess you have to play with 6 survivors no matter how many people play?
Oh but you don't need to do that! If you know the rules and then start to play with the once that have not read the rules, they will come into the game super quick! I play this with my 6 & 9year old and they have no problems following the rules. Yes, you always need all 6 survivors, even solo.
@@JendersGaming Yeah I have adapated a little since we started playing board games to get over the rule book hurdle. I either read it myself and brief them or we watch a video like yours together. I probably need to do that more because I currently get stuck at games of a weight around 2.3 because thats when the rules usually stack up and my family loses interest. I am dying to get into some heavier games with my family!
@typedeaf yeah it's hard in the start, but you are doing it right. And the more.they play the more they will eventually get in to it faster :)
I have a question. when a player has two weapons lets just say two different guns. Does the player shoot with both or just one ?
If the active Survivor has 2 identical weapons with
the Dual symbol equipped in their Hands, they
can use both weapons at the same time by using
a single Action. Both weapons must be aimed at
the same Zone. :)

Ah yes, you should definitely put out a noice token when you break up a door :)
Rule check..when using a Molotov on a abomination with other zombies in the same zone you only kill the abomination not the other zombies unless they are on their own without abomination. Can someone check me on that?
I know it sounds to good to be true but the rules clearly state: All actors in the targeted zone are eliminated. :)
I see where I got that from. The Abominawild card states “Molotov effects in the Abominawild zone only kill the Abominawild. Other actors are not affected”.

Can you stack damage? Like if a abomination takes 3 hits, can a player with 2 damage hit it and a player with 1 damage take a shot which equals 3 and should kill it? Or is it you strictly need a weapon that does 3 damage?
Unfortunately you can't stack damage, the weapons used must be able to do the full amount of damage at once to take out the Zombie :)

You can always house rule to allow it. Maybe in that sense let the Abomination have 5 or 10HP.
