To save everyone asking, why we didn't go down the A614, there was a big queue to get onto the A614 roundabout, so we thought Redford, back on the A1 at Markham Moor, but that was closed too. We then weren't sure how far down the A1 was closed, so A57, we missed the turning for the A1133 and ended up in Lincoln, so we thought A15 goes to Peterborough. Ah well you live and learn.
Well done for going though all that hassle and still summoning up enough energy to put a video of it all together. So pat on the back to both of you but especially you Bob for all that driving.
We travelled the A15 from Peterborough to Lincoln when the A1 northbound was closed earlier this year and it surprised us what a pretty road parts of the A15 is. The perils of driving in the UK in 2018 eh ? At least you were safe and warm.... very warm 😄👍🏻

Ohh Bob, what a detour!! Being from Nottingham, I recognised where you were detoured off the A1. The A614 past Clumber Park would have been a much better alternative route. Then the A6097 to Bingham and then the A52 to Grantham would have got you back on the Great North Road much more quickly I think. We are off this coming Sunday, to Western France and Northern Spain. Taking Le Shuttle 1st thing Monday morning, after staying a night at the Black Horse Farm CAMC site. I hope our Sunday run won't be so detoured and traumatic as yours was! Well done Bob, you travelled on my old commuter route, Bradford to Doncaster, many years ago ! That road through Retford is the way we go to Morrisons from Clumber Park for our food shopping, not usually as busy as hat ? Thing I would have stopped off to see if there was any vacancies at Clumber Park and cancelled Ferry Meadows. A1 closed would have been a good reason to cancel. Bet you all would have been exhausted, me too watching your diversions, you resisted not to swear very well controlled, dam it ?
Being an ex truck driver I always make sure I take a good break every 4 and a half hours. I normally stop for an hour just to regain my senses.I know people will say that’s stupid but if it’s the law for HGV drivers it’s got to be the right way to go I think.
Looking at some of your old trips. If you ever come back to Lincolnshire. Lincoln is well worth a look also Stamford is a wonderful pretty much unspoiled old town.

By the we saw a motorhome with a purple "UP" in tow today around 11:15am heading South on the M6 Toll on our return from Norfolk & thought of you guy's 😁.,

Caravanning with the Coxs Thanks for the questions. I don't get a press pass, because we help Aileen with her pet supplies, we get trade passes. I tried to get press passes for the National Motorhome Show, but they said they had enough coverage. Best thing to do is just ask the NEC, you never know. The reason we haven't videoed the Safari Room is we haven't used since we started vlogging. Not so keen on it nowadays. We might try it over the August Bank Holidays.

Watched last night and found that we had both been on the A1 around Peterborough at the same time - in our Bolero 714SB with us and 2 westies on board! We were on our way back from a CMC CL at Keal Lodge (Market Deeping) which must be the best CL on the network. Dare I say, far better than Ferry Meadows.
