I’m the one who (I believe) first made the two/tone color version of the Birds of Feather blanket! 🙋🏽♀️ The designer contacted me to ask for notes on how I did it so she could publish the update and make her own two-color sample, eeek! I was so excited and now seeing you talking about it, day MADE!!!
Thank you so so much for featuring my Sonder advent wrap pattern! I am so grateful and humbled for the opportunity to be showcased on your podcast alongside such amazing patterns.
Natalie, you were one of my original inspirations when I started my podcast and it is such an honour for you to speak about one of my patterns in your video. I literally squealed when the Yorkshire blanket popped up on screen! You had such lovely things to say about it and your pronunciation was great. I’m so looking forward to seeing what you do with the pattern. Thankyou so much for making this fan very happy ❤❤❤
Oh wow what a joy to see a South African Crochet designer featured on yout channel! Marianna from Sweet Crochet Dreams is a wonderful designer. Her eye for details and especially writing detailed patterns is what is making her stand out on her beautiful designs! ❤
So awesome that three of our Aussie designers caught your attention Julie’s yarn shop ‘Little Woollie Makes’ is an absolute gem, as is she and her son Max (Maximoo Yarns) is a fabulous yarn dyer 💜🧶
Thank you Natalie. I live that you featured so many crochet patterns this year. I saw yesterday that Lucienne Crochet has just released a version of the advent baby blanket that is level on the ends and has a border. I can’t wait for vlogmas 🎄
I’m going to knit Ambah O’Brien’s Laminate Cowl this year, since I have a 12 day countdown kit. For the blankets made in squares, people could buy some coordinated full skeins to make a larger blanket.
Love love love all these advent left over patterns. I’ve personally made the “little squares crochet blanket” by Julie. It’s an amazing addictive pattern. The designer is also my Local yarn store owner of - Little Woolie Makes in Victoria Australia.
There are so many amazing Advent patterns for both knitting and crochet it is soooo hard to choose Guess that means I'll need to stick around for many many more Advent seasons 🎄🎄🎄 Anne ❣au
I’ve never knit a gnome before, but it sounds so fun, especially since a full advent calendar was a bit out of my price range! What a great alternative
I really needed a pick-me-up today, and this was the perfect thing to cheer me up during my lunch break! So excited for advent crafting and for vlogmas! ❤
Fun Advent Pattern picks! I’m working on “All Those Shades Leftover Socks”. Great for those minis or left overs. They are toe up with a perfect Fleegle heel. No stitches to pick up!
I’ll be adding to my “Stained Glass Scrap Blanket” by Ladybug Laboratory. Each square is outlined in black to really define those gorgeous colors. And continuing Battenberg Blanket. I don’t know how you got yours done so quickly, Natalie.
I have the Unwind Advent box! Lambgood Fiber is by the owner of The Knotty Lamb (which is where I met you during the Rose City Yarn Crawl!). I’m super excited to see how the pattern works up.
It can feel like a lot of pressure to pick the right thing! Or maybe that's just how I feel. 😅 Sometimes it helps to wait until you've opened a few days of the advent to inspire which pattern to choose.
I found a new to me designer this year named Alina Appasova. She has a new design called Chasing Dawn which is an advent wrap. It’s really pretty. Most of her patterns are slip stitch and garter.
Found and added it to the bundle! It's stunning - thank you! Here it is for anyone who might want to see it: www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/chasing-dawn-2

Thank you for always including crochet patterns!!
Fabulous to see Julie's patterns mentioned - she owns my LYS. Love that three Australian designers were mentioned within your 10 projects.
Julie’s gorgeous shop is also my LYS. I’ve made the crochet version of little squares.
@@rachaelwalker6490 I have just been eyeing them off, as I am on a ban, I need to complete a washing basket full of wips and soon to be cast ons.
So awesome that three of our Aussie designers caught your attention Julie’s yarn shop ‘Little Woollie Makes’ is an absolute gem, as is she and her son Max (Maximoo Yarns) is a fabulous yarn dyer 💜🧶
100% agree, her store and Maximo yarns are amazing.
I love that!!
Thank you Natalie for some more lovely Advent ideas! No idea what I’m going to make with mine yet but I’m enjoying having a look for patterns!
❤ omg, I had to IMMEDIATELY order this Mystery Gnome pattern. Adorable, can hardly wait to make my Gnome
I tried to order this but it’s not allowing the discount
What a fun and helpful episode, thank you! ❤

Hahaha that's so true!!
I’ve never knit a gnome before, but it sounds so fun, especially since a full advent calendar was a bit out of my price range! What a great alternative
It's super fun! And much more doable both in price and knitting time
Love the pattern ideas - I often double my fingering minis to make DK weight as I rarely have enough DK minis to make a full advent project.
I really needed a pick-me-up today, and this was the perfect thing to cheer me up during my lunch break! So excited for advent crafting and for vlogmas! ❤
Aww I hope your day gets better and you get loads of knitting and crocheting time to relax 💕💕
Excellent! I have an Advent or two I’ve been searching for patterns for!

Thank you so much Natalie! I am a crocheter and would love to make some of these.

That sounds awesome! And my Battenberg is still not done... 🫣
@ 😂 So you’re just like the rest of us!
This is a wonderful selection. Your additional info was helpful for advent newbs.
Hi Natalie you've found many interesting patterns! Thanks Kaye x
Happy Advent Making Season of Vlogs!!
So helpful! Thank you for compiling this information
I have the Unwind Advent box! Lambgood Fiber is by the owner of The Knotty Lamb (which is where I met you during the Rose City Yarn Crawl!). I’m super excited to see how the pattern works up.
Oh my gosh yes!!! I'm excited to see how that works up!!
Thank you so much for such great ideas! I really enjoy your pocasts. ❤
Thank you so much for these great ideas! This is my first year getting an advent and I am still unsure what to make with it.

All great patterns! But I can’t get the idea of an advent fade anthology. I need to do that one first, or forever have the idea stuck in my head!
Hello from Swansea, Illinois. ❤❤❤❤
To me, the Sonder wrap looks like Tunisian crochet. It has that woven look. The designer made a comment but didn’t mention technique.
It's good old linen/moss stitch with a twist. Not Tunisian crochet but I take it as a compliment that it looks woven ❤
You should look at jerichos rose sweater thats really Nice and made as an advent project
I’m in Yorkshire so I might do that first one❤
It's meant to be!
Love the speckled yarn blanket on the back of your couch / bed. Are the all from the same dyer?
Thank you! Yes they are all from The Little Wolf Knits: thelittlewolfknits.myshopify.com/
peace be upon you from me and zamzam water
