I am very new in animation line and dude the scene is awesome I am stunned. I can't even believe that it can be made. And very much thank you for the scene awesome bro just awesome.
So you you tracked the CG render in after effects in order to get the HUD display on the screen? Couldn't you have just parented a locator to the surface of the screen and then sent that data over to After Effects as a null object along with the scene camera via AE LiveLink?
i love this!! can you make more compositing procedure in maya to after effects in complete tutorial? like how to do the aovS? and multipass render? subscribed and like here :0

I've actually never heard of LiveLink before! That sounds incredibly time-saving! Thanks for the tip!
Do you color the lights in maya or you do it in compositing
try on Redshift render pass that so important , Arnold require strong computer and time comsuming
I've heard a lot of good things about Redshift, maybe I'll try it out in the future. Thanks for the recommendation!
When I click the render sequence and close, it's rendering the jpeg file. Why is that?
I can feel my computer heating up just looking at this
wow!!!

It doesn't seem like there's an obj file attached to the gumroad file. It's just a .MTL and the texture :/
