I am so glad that Gucci Westman took comments into account in creating this new shade. The KGD powder looks fabulous - I have so many pressed powders though… Love your look here - very fresh. In response to your question regarding what viewers are using: the summer here has been so hot and humid that I have been wearing minimal makeup - on most days, I’m keeping it simple: Coola tinted sunscreen, Freck lid drip long-wear eyeshadow stick in the champagne shade (not sure of the name, BTW, you might like Freck’s green eyeshadow stick), Dermatology SPF concealer, Guerlain lip balm, Gucci bronzer and Suqqu blush in pink or peach, depending on what I’m wearing - mascara is out because I’m sweating too much. I love that one too! It's one of my favorite powders. This one feels a little less velvety in texture but it appears velvety still on the skin. Love it!
I like Violette’s products but I find so many of the pull warm on my cool complexion. Things that look neutral on others end up looking orange/coral on me and are not flattering. Hopefully she’ll introduce more colors with “a nude touch” in the future.

The love the violette blushes, I like the eye shadows, the lip product hates me. Haha! I think I’m too dry, and don’t/wont do a whole lip routine to get it to work on me. It looks so stunning on, I love that blurred soft look, but it just dries my lips so much over time, and it starts to feel dry after like 20 min on me. And if I add gloss or moisturize on top, it totally defeats that cloud like finish. But I love that woman’s vibe, I’m always open to trying her products.

Chantecaille cushion foundation is sublime ! I have dry patches on my skin. This foundation never sticks to them. It’s fast and easy, the coverage is so natural. I swipe WA blush on my cheeks and eyes, fill in brows and done! Takes 5 minutes

I'm afraid of red lips and showing lines so I think on my wish list, along with the koh gen do foundation. I have tried westman atelier although I looked at the pink powder in the compact, how gorgeous is that packaging, like picking up a heavy beautiful gold pebble. The powder on me, just thought it was 'ok' but was a quick try on, in Liberty. One of my days in London where I just go and play and purchase makeup, stopping off somewhere great for lunch. If ever you come to London I would love to meet up - time would go too quick though, we'd have so much to talk about, makeup is our passion 😉
I would love to go to London sometime! I definitely want to plan a trip there at some point. My sister did a study abroad program that was split between London and Venice when she was in college and she loved it so much that she named her dog London. I'll let you know when I get to actually go.

No, it has been reformulated and now it is a blend of several different powder technologies they have patented. I'm not sure how close the older version is as I only have the swirl versions which are looser and more velvety in texture.
I wouldn't say it's nicer exactly but it's different. I think of the AT as giving you a smooth, even finish with no detectable powder - more like a matte or satin matte marble finish to your skin. This is more velvety looking on the skin so I classify them differently. I tend to use more velvety finishes for finishing powder or during the fall and winter for some reason. Both are favorites though.
The Addiction Tokyo is powder for those who can't usually use powder and it's suitable for dry skin without giving you any sort of powdery look. The AT will give you a matte or satin matte finish to the skin with no detectable powder. The KGD is more powdery and instead gives you a soft velvety finish to the skin. I think those with very dry skin will prefer the AT. I hope this helps!
Did u get the other Sweed mascara with the straight comb type wand they also have a brown in . I was kinda eyeing that to. I went to buy the KDJ powder last week and it was sold out on their site. I think I'm kinda intrigued with that Westman highlight now that I saw you use it at first I was like it looks like straight blush but it's pretty and I haven't tried those highlighters yet still haven't even tried the brand. I had a question how do u like the Sisley ombre singles ? Are they worth a try like in silky chestnut, matt toupe and their was a few more colors I was eyeing steel but idk how much I would ware that and a few others. I was kinda thinking silky chestnut as a one and done neutral.

I think the effect on the skin is fairly similar but the KGD finish looks a bit more velvety than the RMS. Both wear equally well. I really love both but I think the KGD is my favorite as the finish just seems to have more dimension. It's kind of hard to explain but I feel like I can see all the nuances of their different powder complexes rolled into one product. The RMS I really love for a setting powder but the KGD can be setting or finishing powder imo.

I agree. I think her line, as well as the Guerlain line, run warm in general. Amour Fou might be a better option for you than this one.

I really love both but I think the KGD is my favorite as the finish just seems to have more dimension. It's kind of hard to explain but I feel like I can see all the nuances of their different powder complexes rolled into one product. The RMS I really love for a setting powder but the KGD can be setting or finishing powder imo.
