Just found your videos. I’m getting a whole lot of answers.
I have an Arab/MFT cross. He has gaited for me only once. I will keep listening and learning.
    Thank you!

Funny, I’ve been practicing and IJskoud did give me the feedback that I was putting to much pressure on the reins for him. He reacted so much better when I put almost no pressure but just a tiny bit.

I am just starting to watch your videos, and appreciating the information very much, thank you for providing them. It made me giggle when you offered the weight in metric, and read it out as 125 kilograms. 125 grams would be more accurate...

I love your videos a lot and try to work with my two icelandic horses like you train it. I just wanted to tell you, that your force in kg is not 125kg, I am not sure, but either it´s 0,125kg or 1,25kg. Which is amazingly soft. Thanks for your videos and your helpful training tipps.

I really like the bridle you are using. What brand is it?

how long do you work on softening at the walk before you try to add speed?

You do it until it is easy for them at the walk. Usually just a couple of days.
