The big one for me was "An-jay", it's really pronounced "Anya". She's from Innistrad, which is Eastern Europe/Gothic inspired. It's like "ja" in German, which sounds like pretty much like "ya".
Revised duals cost as much as expeditions. For many, getting black bordered duals is prohibitively expensive, or just not worth it. I do the same. I like to foil out my decks, but paying $2k for a single dual land is a little too much. $400 for an underground sea is already way more than I’m normally willing to pay for any single card.
@@TheBalogna7 sorry for the delay to respond you The decklist is still not definitly ok but it seems like this www.ligamagic.com.br/?view=dks/deck&id=1313809

Yeah, it's odd people still complain about it, I think it's just a "wah feel bad their targetting me" thing, but if you think about it, it's a unique deck archetype, and they should have had it stay at 20 combat damage, not 21
While it certainly didn't matter, Cryptic Command taps all creatures your Opponents Control, not target players. Just a future reference to any playing against the textless version
what an awesome game! super happy to see a cameo from Jan (Love the spike feeders and always like to see Jan playing!!!). Great game to boot. thanks for uploading dude

Just gonna day this but. “Flexing on everyone by playing an expedition” That’s a filter land. That specific one is about 40-50. That foil horizon canopy from future sight that he played is worth almost 400. THATS A SIGNIFICANTLY BIGGER FLEX
I love that you guys (Muddstah and Spike Feeders) are interacting and supporting each other. I hope that this kind of collaboration continues to happen among my favorite UA-cam EDH content creators. Sadly, however, this was a pretty poor showing for Andrew's Trostani deck and Jan didn't get to see what it's really about. Andrew's pseudo-reanimator Trostani deck is one of my favorites that he pilots.
Okay idk if anyone’s said it yet but AHN-YA. Anje-ahnya. The innistrad vampires are Russian nobility based, not basic white girl based. That being said, interesting game. Fun commanders
Steve in my opinion goes home with the win. Even when I lose if I took out 3 players single handled that's a win for me and I'm proud to have played like a monster who only got taken down by they guy in the back only growing because my presence took attention off of him 😅
15:30 man I look forward to it. Feels like people either do the worldgorger combo list or just durdle around without any real bombs, just some X spells they have to hard cast without the help of any ritual effects. I keep looking around for inspiration but it feels like everyone's limited themselves to the same 80 or so non-basic land cards.
Isn’t Bone Miser the same dude as the one in Waste Not? Oh yeah, he also has the exact same effect except it’s you and not your opponent! So flavorful!
As far as what was played in the video, it's literally the precon + ayara and anger. It's a strong deck if left alone with a lot of good value "combos" that are easy to assemble (ayara is a great addition), but if someone removed bone miser (another insane card), he probably would have lost. Also was very lucky that steve focused down the other two players while mike got to build his army.
This is the first time i can confidently say that my version of a deck on here is stronger than the one shown. That’s literally never happened and I’m proud of my anje deck
Why didn't mike draw with ayara sacrificing those zombies? He didn't attack with those for some turns. He could also discard the excess cards for more zombies/mana.
I know that Jan's Edgar deck was supposed to be powered down, compared to the cEDH stuff, but honestly, a player can build a much more powerful Edgar Markov aggro deck, without any Mana Crypts, Fetch lands, true duals, or any other high-power staples.
"Steve flexes on everyone by playing an expedition Mystic Gate" You say that as if the Future Sight foil Horizon Canopy he played last turn isn't worth like twice as much
i buy a lot from tcgplayer ive been using your affiliate but do i have to use that mass entry tool to give you credit? or just my normal shopping is going to do it?

Bro, it hurts to hear Anjay instead of Anje... don't quote me here, but I'm relatively certain that a J following an N usually produces an Ñ sound, which although that symbol isn't normally printed in English, the sound remains the same. Also, Anje's graveyard was a bigger target than the Brainstorm... I should mention that there is probably no specific English grammar rule as to why this exists because of weird words like Banjo, but even so it is uncomfortable to hear OnJay...
Why Loaming Shaman? The deck seems to care about reanimating/recycling cards in your graveyard. The shaman seems like a nombo so I don't get the inclusion >.
I've built a 75% Rafiq deck that's about as optimised as it can be and this game sums it up completely... Rafiq is the king of second place... Wins about 10% of its games even in cEDH pods comes second about 80% of its games and almost always is the destroyer of the 3rd and 4th placers... really does run out of gas beyond 10 turns... by that point you've spent all your interaction keeping him on the board and whoever is left just ramps up way more than is possible to handle... Really fun deck and easy to pilot but will probably never make it to cEDH deck lists...
Bloodlord of Vasgoth is terrible and a "trap" card. It does NOTHING to help vampires in play. It comes down as a 3/3 for 5 if you don't get damage in. It doesn't even help the tokens made off of Edgar Markov. This was among the first cuts I made to the deck. Trash card.
Best round of hand shaking I have ever seen.

Actually, Jan was supposed to gain 21 life, not 7. Malakir Bloodwitch makes you gain life equal to the life lost that way.
That’s what I thought and I play this same card .
That's actually on me. Editing / scripting error.
Yes, you can see Jan has the correct life - a third spindown was added after Malakir Bloodwitch came into play.
At 9:50 Cryptic Command should have tapped Mike's creatures as well. It taps all creatures opponents control
Sat down right at 11 with my breakfast to find a sweet new muddstah video. Woot! Time to eat and watch!
Uuuh very nice. Im sitting here at 5pm, eating some cake before its time for dinner. :)
"Fist" of Lochwain, sure puts that lady in another light ...
Mike making me scream over here, only ever mainphasing his madness spells and never activating Ayara. Dude.

Like what about world gorger/ animate dead combo?
Andrew with the aggressive hand shakes at the end. "Me first". Love it.
