I bought a male double tail rose petal betta fish from petsmart a few months ago, and he is pretty healthy and VERY active. I have a 10 gallon planted vertical tank, and all ph, nitrite, nitrates, ammonia and blablabla are usually quite stable. But on my betta there is always these a few tears that never seem to heal. Any ideas? I set a camera there, and he isn’t ripping his own fins, or getting them stuck on anything… and it 100% is not ammonia burns
Yes, it happens on bigtail bettas, even routine faring also cause tears sometimes. But adding almond leaves or drift wood that leach tannins and bit of aquarium salt will speed up healing.
Hi thank you for helping me breed my betta fish i just noticed eggs in the nest i am so happy i watched alot of your videos they helped greatly i was trying for a long time the female was smaller than the male so it was hard.
Sorry but their fins are straight up ugly. I prefer simple bettas, at least they can swim while they are colorful and graceful. Plus I always wondered why would anyone want a black betta, the worst color for betta splendens, while every other color is literally looks gorgeous on them. I can recommend some good black fish to replace venom betta. The funny part is that black is my fav color, but when I see venom betta I have to scream, because this is the only creature on this planet which is ugly in that epic color which is always in fashion.
Haha! Absolutely different perspective on venom bettas. Very interesting to go through your option. I agree, they don’t look as fancy and attractive as koi and galaxy breeds. Thanks for commenting. Also, it’s hard as UA-camr to put black image on thumbnail and makes more people to click. 😂😂
@@aquadiaryofficial My options are pretty basic but good: red tail black shark, black molly, bumblebee catfish and if you like black & white pattern then zebra ancistrus. Black platty fish is good too. As a fellow youtuber I gotta agree with you on the thumbnail part of your comment.
Congrats! We have below video in the channel that talks about home made food options for betta frys. Give it a try. ua-cam.com/video/LTTAuemuLGY/v-deo.html
No worries bro. Value your opinion. Not having confident to come on camera. But thinking do soon. But if you look for informational channel, you will be well satisfied with Aqua Diary. 👍
@aquadiaryofficial What you're doing is completely fine, and you'll do great, I've watched many of your videos! And love them. Personally scrolling thru insta and tiktok, I just hear so many AI voices lately, this is purely my opinion and doesn't mean other people think the same! Keep up the great work. I love the videos! And I'll keep checking too see if you get a mic someday 😏😉
I have bought 1 from betta store and it suprisingly hard to take care of it. First, it became stress for 2 week, then lost color although I used different ways to cure (salt, medicine, clean water each 2 days,...). And finally, after 1 month,it passed along with river😢.
Iv'e never been particularly a fan of the crown tails but some of those King Crowns are gorgeous , I love the red one displaying, I would definitely like that one.
Should I try breeding cross-ray crowntail betta and post video?
Yes I would watch it
Absolutely!!!
Love king crown tails Berta I looking for it from long time
Yess!!❤❤❤
Yes u should
Beautiful fish

Agree, but it depends on your place, country. I have seen they were cheaper than Halfmoon in some places.

Check local breeders or aquabid.com, you may find one. 👍👍👍
Is drift wood advisable for a betta tank? Could it harm betta's fins?
Yes! But just be sure, no sharp edges.
I love the Venon variety and hope to have one one day. Peace.

you man manually slice the fins
You are funny! They are breed type, manually slicing fins will never create crossray tails. 😂😂
First like bro ❤
