@@bennisford1712 I hope so, I’d love to see SEASONS worth of this content. The only thing that sucks is some may not do the biggest numbers but how they’ve handled just these 3 episodes… man I’d love for this to be a lengthy series
I wonder what zone BIG, Puff and The Hitmen were in when they were making this masterpiece. How was BIG able to create these vivid songs that are like mini-movies without writing a single word on paper. *BIG IS THE GREATEST*
I love the fact that while Angie does a amazing job in navigating through these episodes it brings me back to 94 to 97 the best years in hip hop! Big, Scarface, Nas to name a few! Thanks
I felt like I knew Big. He was the first rapper my mother let me listen to because she understood what he was saying. My uncles was in the streets so hearing Biggie rap, she was impressed with how he was able to tell a story about the streets so vividly. When he died I was sad.
I got that Biggie tape and I immediately knew that a new era in the game had just begun... When he passed I realised it was actually that an era had ended and the king had died in battle to mark that end... In a way it was both an end and a beginning... The king was dead. Long live the king.
Would love 1,000,000 more episodes. All on B.I.G. My favorite rapper of all time. The greatest, not "one-of-the". He is the greatest MC that ever lived.
I fell in love with Hip-hop at 5 yrs old. I fell deeper once the 90's started. The track, the producers, the lyrics. The first time heard Big, I was blown away. I was a Senior in Highschool when he passed. March 9, is my birthday. Broke my heart. Still hurt by it.
every day, but every day, i play two albums, "life afther death" / "victory lap" i want to thanks to everybody involved in this work, especially, Notorious BIG, Nipsey Hussle, god bless you, see you in heaven.
Man that Photographer guy (Barron Claiborne) is so cool , I really rock with his perspective and energy, it’s amazing to see the face behind that iconic set of photos, let alone seeing he’s a black man ! ✊🏾 Extra bonus points for mentioning Big as Kingpin in that white suit !
Like Jimi Hendrix... The amount of influence he had in such a small amount of time. To be able to do all that at such a young age, still blows my mind💯🎤🔥😎
This series is incredible. Love the inside stories from the people close to him, worked with BiG and those he influenced. What a true legend and my favorite MC. Gone way too soon. RIP BIG
Ready to Die Life After Death Til Death do us Part Born Again Wow... He only delivered to us half of his plan and look at the mark he made.... What an artistic legacy...
Till Death Do us Part was Disc 2. No plans were made to have it as a double album until he passed. That’s why biggies 3rd album on dec. 7 1999 was Born Again.
@RowlexEnterprise No way did they decide to make Life After Death a double album after he was killed, the album was released around 14 days after he died. There is no way they had time to turn it into a double album and release it in that time
I think I speak for many other young fans, who never had a parallel lifetime with BIG, when I say that this really gives me a kind of feeling to learn more avout his Persona and Character, thanks for this amazng installment. Rest easy Big

BIG WAS THEEEEEEE BEST STORYTELLER THERE IS!! This man could tell you a story from start to end, while rhyming, never wrote anything down, he left NO details out, and you understood the story so clearly. Also, just my take on "Sing ant lie" bar.. he was saying Sing aint lie because Sing just told him all the details of where Jason would be and who he be with, and when Big got there and saw Jason, everything was exactly accurate! so therefore, "Sing aint lie"... GENIUS!!!!
My dad played life after death for 10 years straight hahah. He from brooklyn so I understood. But by the age of 9 I knew the whole life after death album.
Awesome series and some closure for a true Big fan like myself. I always wanted to know more about Big and the behind the scenes stories of the records.
Nashiem is saying that the album was recorded in Trinidad, he meant TT!! OMG! I cannot believe that TT is where this legendary album was recorded. Love from T&T!
It’s there’s Jason with his back to me “talking “to his faculty! And wow thank you for that he just put a piece to that song together for me after all these years. An Jay saying “Sing ain’t Lie” Wow
I still remember waking up Sunday morning checking my sky pager and seeing the news come across the screen. It made me look at a whole coast differently. It took me 25 plus years to finally go to cali because I had no intentions.
RIP BIG but to diss Pac on Goin Back To Cali and Long Kiss Goodnight then come to Cali 4 months after he died was a huge mistake on Bad Boy's part. And they stayed for 2 months. Ignoring hella death threats. They had chances to leave. BIG didn't have to die
I look deeper I see blood up on his sneakers and his fist gripped a chrome four-fifth. Fkn genius. You can literally picture what he rappin about. Can u imagine what he would be putting out if he was still here? Damn. He had so many more hits in his brain that we will never hear. Rip big. Aka frank white
Thee best double album we will ever see. Not just because of the many good tracks. It’s because the 12 producers, hottest producers I should say if that golden era. On this album just making history. Also bigs maturation and versatility is just outta this world. Not many features also.

I'm glad that I was alive in that era to even experience that time in hip hop!
He died 3/9 & the album came out 3/25. The way CDs were printed & distributed back then, there’s no way there was time to change anything after his death. It’s possible he never heard the final mixes, but it was being pressed & distributed when he died…if not a bit before.
