One thing ive found really important aswell is spacing as you can use it to force a dash, move, or stay out of range for a punishing move. It also allows for an easy switch between passive and aggressive fighting to bait moves then counter them

They can only get out of mine if I mess up the second to last ability which what I use is deadly ninja and I use the third ability into the second ability into the first ability and then when they try and come at me, I use the fourth ability

Tip 1 doesnt work against consoles players as they have auto aim so you will have to use an ability that breaks the block
Number 4 countering side dash: front dash with shift lock and aggressively shake ur screen ( it works ) "trust" 💯💀
I usually just review and adapt. Say my opponent tends to hold block alot, I'll dash more and such
