@@thirty3point3_904 Everytime that guitar drops from the high chords to the middle range, it's like a punch in the gut. It's such a tight groove and his voice is awesome
Can we take a minute to appreciate a few things here. 1 - Same line up now from the beginning. 2 - 30 years on, they can still play the songs perfectly. 3 - How Chris went from a shaggy looking hippy to a dapper looking happy grandpa. 4 - How good the mix and over all sound of these Zoom calls was! 5 - They took time out of their lockdown to do a free concert for the internet.
As a scrawny, glasses wearing, geek, I felt these lyrics so hard in college in the mid 90s when the lacrosse and soccer players were getting all the girls. To this day, I thought this was one of the most cleverly written tunes...
My 12 year old son heard this song in the Beethoven (dog) movie, and he loves it. Now he keeps listening it which makes me happy. I can't figure out a way to get him into good music, he doesn't want to listen to anything I propose to him. So thanks to all these movies with good music 🎶 😃
Channel 5's Britain's Favourite 90s Songs sent me here after I also remembered Jimmy Olsen's Blues. Have just seen this and - wow. Magic still there, huh?
This zoom set showed up on the feed today and it was like a little gift, throwing me back to my youth and great days. Thank you Spin Doctors! Sounds awesome!
I remember the first weeks living in the USA in the early 90s, after flying from my country here in Argentina, my two American cousins took me to lunch in Pasadena (to a freaking McDonald's XD) in a Suzuki Samurai, no top, and with the Pocket Full of Kryptonite cassette on at top volume! I was 13 years old, and although I already had my favourite bands back then, I really really really liked what I heard that day. I told my cousins and they gave me that same cassette, which I literally destroyed due to the ammount of times I listened to that thing again and again! Those yeaars where one of the best of my life, and everytime I listen to the Spin Doctors it takes me back to those days. Thanks for the memories and the great music, guys! Cheers form Buenos Aires!!
I worked all summer when I was a young man so I could afford an 8" tom; I got it so I could set my drums up like Aaron did back in the day; 8/10/12/14/22. Huge fan, always have been!
As a teen , in the 90's , this brought me back to 9th grade . Still clear, crisp and spot on ...not alterations or fills . Love you guys ,thanks for the memories!!!
Pocket Full of Kryptonite is, probably, one of my favorite albums of all time-even if it's a bit older than I myself am (22 now!), but it's such a timeless record... I'm glad to see you guys are still doing your thing! :)
All right... why don’t you guys just do the whole damn album!!?! You guys are so tight and you’re not even in the same room. Effortless you are! Drums impeccable as usual, bass unearthly, vocals just the way I remember them, and that guitar... one of the best ever... alright... What time is it?? Always 4:30
Never realized how bizarre (in a brilliant way) that this song is, guys!! All of the parts are like a mm from crashing, but it weaves right together! 🤯
I know I keep commenting, but I keep coming back and this entire session is just SO FREAKIN' GOOD. This is my favorite some from the album, and I'm also a huge fan of Superman. You guys are awesome. Makes my days better watching you play music. :)
This makes my day. You guys have aged very well as a band. It's heat warning to see one of the bands of my college years still friends, still performing and nailing it this phenomenally.
Very cool, always really appreciated you guys' musicianship. Became a fan after seeing you play with Soul Asylum and Screaming Trees at Great Woods in Massachusetts in 1990-something. Threw on your back catalog to listen to while working from home due to the pandemic, figured I'd take a look and see what you guys were up to these days and, boom, here you are still doing your thing. Band sounds great! Glad you guys are still around!
When this album was released, I was instantly hooked. An antithesis of what was that I embraced with open arms and so into singing along to this song for so long that two generations of my children now have pockets full of kryptonite. You guys sound great and the songs remain timeless and infectious as ever. I say... I don’t feel well I might need to consult doctors... spin doctors. Thank you.
I’ll never forget seeing them do this on SNL. I instantly became a fan! So awesome to see them doing it - and doing it SO WELL - after all these years!
You Dudes are the soundtrack of my childhood I’d like to thank you gentlemen for sparkling my love for music and sending me down the rabbit hole of playing multiple instruments. You guys still sound as good as 1991
I can sum up the magic of the Spin Doctors in one word: GROOVE
Tell me I'm wrong....
You're wrong.
Didn’t really realize these bass grooves are so complex but they are so deep in the pocket.
I'm sure you guys have played this song 100 million times, but dammit, this is so fresh. Thank you guys for doing this for us!
Back again a year later. This vid still is on the top of my repeats. Keep 'em rolling!

Spin Doctors is everything the world needs in 2021
It's really heartwarming to see you guys playing together. This whole album has so many of my best memories wrapped up in it.
its just makes me feel old
Same. Down for a time machine ticket back to the '90s any time.

Shame on the two people who disliked this. This is one of the best songs of all time, in my opinion
The two people who disliked it :
1) Superman
2) Clarke Kent
There is no dead weight in that band , no one getting carried and greater than the sum of thier parts . Pure magic !
Everyone is in the pocket. Spanking their parts
ZERO DEAD WEIGHT>>> zero!
blown away. such talent. bassist, guitarist, vocalist, drummer. superlative.

Such underrated guitarist and bassist.
Only idiots underrates these guys
They are a pocketful of musical virtuosos! What amazing singing and playing...🎵
I come watch this all the time!! A Master-Class in groove!!!
Mark White is one of the reasons I fell in love with Bass
Talent never goes out of style.
I typed “consummate professionals” into the search engine and this video popped up
Almost 30 years later and I am completely smitten all over again.

Brings back good memories -- and still sounds great.
Great stuff thank you, cranked this up enjoying a few whiskies and a barbecue on this very pleasant evening in Scotland.
This is a hit song that never got the recognition.
Spin Doctors still being badass!!! Just like the Little Miss/Two Princes videos!! Freaking awesome!!!!!
I'm fairly certain that this band is one of the reasons I started playing bass and joining bands as a kid.
You chose well my friend.
Same!
Mark is a legend!
I don't care what anyone says . One of the coolest songs
I would like to give you 👍 not once but 1000 times! You guys are like good wine that improves over the years!

I could listen to that guitar riff for 10 mins. straight ‼️
Great version of the song, and great memories from it
INCREDIBLE!! Vocals, musicianship, fun song...the whole package. Sounds absolutely amazing.

Favorite album from the ‘90s.

I love the Singer and the guy above him in the Yellow shirt. 😘❤😍
Whole band is tight as always, and Eric is still one of the grooviest riffmasters ever.
You guys make 2020 great again 🥰
I still listen to this album often! So awesome that all you still need to have a wicked tune is a simple guitar, bass, drums and a vocal.
most underated band, i love u guys
Watching through these zoom videos, goosebumps and I'm welling up they're that good. ❤ Spin Doctors
Bad-asses back in the day and still bad-asses! Thanks guys!
Backpacking around Australia when this came out, played the cassette on my Walkman loads and loads. Hearing this now brings back many happy memories.

AC is the drum Dr. keeps the groove rollin. And together with that Bass. Wow

One of their best jams! Eric has some killer chops, and wrote some great licks over the years! Love that tone man.
Yup. Still got it! Awesome sauce guys! Ow! Spin it doctah! Love it! Cheers from Maine! Love the spin Doc’s!
One thing is true Eric: `You`re wonderful guitar player!`
Podrá canbiar nuestro rostro, nuestro cuerpo pero la música se lleva en el alma eso nadie lo cambia
My fav song on the Pocket album... You guys still DRIPPIN' WITH COOL!!
the soundquality is awesome...
I miss you guys, your music and the 90's. Thanks for all the good times.
The bass is so sick on this one. Really holds it down.
Thanks spin doctors love your music. Made my day
I was born in the 90s and i am SO into this. It needs to come back
Just beautiful fellas. An excellent song that you played as excellently as ever. Thank you for doing it. Great music deserves to live on....
As a drummer, I’ve always loved this intro.
Holy smoke - they are SOOOO good - all of them 😎🤘

Y'all sound stellar, with this song all the Jimmy Olsens out there kinda have an advantage on Superman. Gotta be resourceful is what I gathered
I love the Spin Doctors, they sound awesome... 😄👍
Love for the groove and cant wait for KW Blues Festival to come back!
I saw you guys with Soul Asylum and Screaming Trees back in '93. Sound as good today as you did then!
When this album was released, I was instantly hooked. An antithesis of what was that I embraced with open arms and so into singing along to this song for so long that two generations of my children now have pockets full of kryptonite.

Yes the more I think about all the music. Thank you very much.
Still the best thing to come out of COVID
One of my all time favorite riffs. Just a masterpiece of a song.

That is one cool bass man. All rockin' band.
Out to was great on this version too. Really liked the Out to on the studio cut, a Superman flyby swoosh sound. Nuance that really topped a great song
*outro 2x
Love this.. I did a high school video project back in the mid 90's to this song.. Glad you're still jamming!
