I love Scherrie so much. We played the same club in Dallas and then I booked both Freda and Scherrie individually for fund raisers when I moved to L.A. and the desert. Love them both. Scherrie’s voice always brought me to tears, especially singing some of the songs she had written. A great talent.

I have known this lady since I believe nine years old. I have always known her to be nothing but the finest of human beings. She is genuine with good heart. Great childhood memories.

Good to hear from you! Everybody dwells on the history of Motown but someone needs to do a history of Holland-Dozier-Holland's post-Motown labels Invictus, Hot Wax and Music Merchant! There was an abundance of talent associated with those labels that should not be overlooked, including Glass House, which featured Scherrie Payne and your father Ty Hunter, who later became one of The Originals.
