I’m very thankful for this video I’m a Catholic and love God Jesus TheTrinity Mary the Saints and will continue to serve a God as he calls me to. However tribalism is such a strong curse within my parish where even gossip and slander are practiced. While I was watching your homily father something was needling me and I couldn't help but wonder if the hospital gave you liquid iodine wash for your stiches? ..you may also want to consider ingestible iodine supplements since iodine protects your thyroid and adrenals from radiation damage, which I am sure you've been exposed to quite a bit. Hopefully your treatment center is conscientious of this? God bless.

I wasn't thinking about the scar so much as I was thinking about as his hair grows back and the oils on the hair irritate the wound if its not quite fully closed yet, it could cause an infection, so an iodine wash would keep it clean without him having to rub and irritate it. :/ doesn't smell the best but it's better than soap that may sting like crazy and over soften the skin. But yes for the battle scar Vit E an aloe would be great :)
Father, you are a beautiful testimony to suffering and our faith. My husband went through what you are going through in the 70s when brain cancer was not heard of. He beat the odds that the surgeons had given us. After all three surgeries in a period of five years, his last words to me when I said don't be afraid were: what should I be afraid of". Of course, that was forty two years ago. Many new treatments have been discovered. What a beautiful, and blessed journey journey my children and I have had.
