I was just thinking how I've cut back on sourcing yet sales are fairly consistent. When I was building inventory, I thrifted 2X week but now it's more like 2X month. I'm also picking up fewer pieces, less than 10 per store. I love being able to list everything within days, rather than agonize over a death pile.
I used to work at Fayva. They gave employees a great discount and any scuffed or defect shoes they gave us for free. Memories.
I love your little baby I had one and lost him never got over him the best companion
What a score on the miracle suit! I love your Boston thrift hauls even it’s shopping for 10 minutes! Nice sales, bundles are always the best!
I like your videos but this like is for Lumpy 😍 I’m in love with your dog he made my night :)
Yes , love picking up Miraclesuit and Magicsuit !
I’m only buying Lulu’s if it’s a maxi dress and size extra large or larger. I have sold two of those in the past few weeks.
Great to hear Emily! Lulu has been a slow mover for me, but many of my dresses I've had for a while...they are small and above the knee.
Lumpy is the cutest!!
I need to keep my eyes 👀 on miracle suit. Never found that brand swimsuit 🩱 Great job Lori!
Omg your dog is adorable 😊!!
craziest thing happened yesterday. I set up at a flea market like once a year with items that havent sold on Ebay or things people give me that arent worth listing. well... Some lady was shopping my tables with her phone recording and talking. she was selling ON Whatnot while at flea market. So I guess she would show what people had and then they would bid and she would charge a little fee. I dont know. So weird.
I have a Magic Suit listed on my closet. It's not moving, had it for a while but it's a print.
Miracle Suits always sell well for me, too!
That looks lIke Sisters Thrift store in Watertown...great staff and decent pricing!😊
Hi darling long time…. I’m passing on lulus lately as well…. ❤️
Passing on the Lulu's these days, Lori...😊
Miracle Suit also has beautiful tops that have a shape-wear tank usually under them. I've bought several on Poshmark and have sold a few too! They are hard to find, but good sellers. Not sure if they make any bottoms or not.
I found a NWT Vilbrequin. Retails for over $300 but I can't get rid of it lol.
Love selling swimsuits! I bought a NWT white size 12 Miraclesuit for $1 and sold it for $110!
I finally found a MiracleSuit recently! It was used, and I couldn’t find the style name, so it didn’t sell for a lot ($32) but it sold FAST! :)
I am new to you and love your videos and your presence! Is that pink afghan available for sale?
Lumpers🐾🐾❣️💋
Hello! I really don’t pick up Lulu’s anymore and I have some pretty dresses but they just sit! I’m with you ..I’m not picking that brand up anymore!
U can find the best things while you are headed to the cashier. Yesterday, I went to a new to me goodwill and found Johnny was!
Hey Lori enjoy your vlogs, did you know Poshmark are no longer operating in Australia
Not picking up lulus anymore. I think the prices online for new are just too cheap now to make a profit on resale. Even nwt sits for me forever.
Maybe i missed it but can you not use the Miracle Suit size chart they have on their website
The size chart is certainly be helpful for someone to measure themselves and choose a size. However when all you have is the suit, and because they are stretchy, the flat-lay measurements usually don't correspond to body measurements the way a sweater or blouse might.
I always pass on Lulus!
I’m getting weird engagement with Posh lately. My sales were dead for many months, like $70 a week. Then exploded to $300 a week for two weeks. Then went dead silent. Now I’m getting tons of likes every day but they unlike the item within 10 minutes. 90% of them. The ones that remain, I send them 50% off & they ghost me. Haven’t had a sale in 5 days. I share 4x a day and list ten items a month. I have 1,700 listings. I had to stop listing so much bc the sales weren’t coming in so I can’t afford to thrift. I’m going to list personal items for the next few months to stay in the algorithm 🤷♀️
I just picked up a cute surf gypsy cover up. I usually sell toad and co dresses for about $25.
this might be a dumb question but does that mean you can sell things buy it now on whatnot without having to do a live show? or is it still live only?
Great question. I'm wondering the same thing. I don't want to do live shows.
I believe you can do just “buy it now” listings, without going live. They are a marketplace first & auction house second. I do not sell on Whatnot, but I have done quite a bit of research regarding the platform. I would google it first though, just to be sure as I am no expert😊
I cant sell Miraclesuit to save my life!
I picked up 2 miracle suits because of your yt vids .. Still have both of them . I priced high because the print on one is awesome and the other I picked up as retail arbitrage
@@LorisBostonFound it is okay if they do not ..perhaps I'll be brave enough to wear a bathingsuit this year .. Those miraclesuits are well made
Please talk about your opinion on promoted listings… 🙄
I have never done promoted listings on Poshmark, but I do them at about 4% on eBay.
I offered a 40% off that Starbucks garment in Feb bcz you paid $6 & you declined the offer.
What I accept for offers aren't always based on what I paid but what an item is worth. The longer I hold on to pieces the more likely I am to accept a lower offer. I guess in February I wasn't ready to accept 40% off.
Nope, all done with Lulu's
