His shot was insane accurate and very quick. But I think that Bure and Fedorov had higher velocity in their shots. Kovalev had a much better velocity but less accuracy, or less consistency in accuracy. Kovalchuk and Semin then had much better velocity and even better accuracy than Mogilny.
Bure played a faster game, could handle the puck at faster speeds. Mogilny was just as fast of not a tiny bit quicker just in terms of straight-up skating without the puck.
@@michaelcoletta4547 not so sure, in a interview Fedorov even said Mogilny was faster more skilled then both him and bure. Mogilny was the real deal so were bure and Fedorov but Mogilny was faster with and without the puck more control IQ vision shooting and everything else. Bure was fast no doubt and the rest and Fedorov as well he was more smooth he was a great offensive defensively as well but all 3 legends
You may be talking about the one timer goal what a great goal scorer. I don't think that I myself included as a sabres fan appreciate this early 90s team.
76 goals for Alexander 76 assist's from Lafontaine? Lol Pat LaFontaine I think is near Greatest. Class/Skill player that was tough as nails in the corners . Loved that guy.
Yeah, Bure was the fastest, Fedorov 2nd and Mogilny 3rd. Makarov would be left at 4th spot. Afinogenov was probably between Fedorov and Mogilny. Bure had better shot and better stickhandling than Mogilny, but Mogilny was the better playmaker and passer.
This man scores five-hole like it’s nothing
One of the greatest players to ever play the game and one of the most lethal wrist shots ever 👍🔥

@@zenonelealainen3750Kovalchuk and Semin??? WTF??? THOSE 2 dont belong in your comment. Otherwise good points
@@Zrro-vx9xl Semin has best wrist shot ever in the game. Kovalchuk is not far behind, but Bure should probably be there between.
Should be in hall of fame
Love it. Especially the footage from the seats. So cool. Glad i was able to go to the aud. I miss the aud and this era of hockey. Loved 90s hockey.
I miss the aud so much !!! They way it smelled the sights the sounds those giant sound absorbers that would sway from the rafters
Absolute legend. My fav all-time player. I always thought he was the fastest out of him, bure, federov.
My fav player growing up as well and yes even Fedorov said Mogilny was the best ❤

LaFontaine to Mogilny was pure magic
Thanks for posting this precious footage of 92-93 season! My favourite one is 74th goal (maybe) against the devils!

I wasn’t aware Moguilny scored this many goal that season. His name was brought up after Selanne’s Rookie season.
It’s an effing crime that he isn’t in the HOF

Comin in on Cheveldae…. SCOOOOOORRRRREESSSSSSSSSSS MOOOOOOOOOOGILNYYYYYYYY
Pay attention how he scates and how he’s fast.
God, hockey was so much better in the 80s and 90s.
what the hell are those goalies doing
Too bad its not synched to the radio broadcast of that time with Jeanerette.
John Gurtler was not great
the goaltending lol
A travesty he's not in the HoF.
can we get 2 more likes for 76?
Never shoots higher than a foot off the ice
Wanna know what a joke the Hockey Hall of Fame is? Just look see who isn't in it.
Bure was faster and better.

I'd would be very interested how. Bure mogliny fedorov would been on a. N h l. Team.
Mogilny was a better playmaker
