John Deere 1070 Rear End Locked Up

Found some bad repairs from the previous repair man and ended up getting everything fixed. The 4wd shaft in the Transmsison had slid forward at some point and dropped the set collar off the shaft. When reinstalled without the collar, the 4wd gear could slide to far back and get stuck on the transmission housing

I have the same tractor with what I think is a transmission problem. It won't move forward or backward. can you share with me your opinion of what the problem is? I changed the transmission fluid and filter, but that didn't solve the problem.
