You can cut the bigger Strong Grip mats to 8.5" width and use them in the Joy Xtra. :D Just put painter's tape down the side w/ the sticky stuff about 1/2" in so it doesn't gum up your rollers. Thanks for this vid!!
I had fun with the xtra one day then it wanted calibrated. I did that and it ended up worse! Still can’t fix it - I’m uninstalling design space and the xtra and see if that helps. I would love to try the leather - looks like fun! TFS!

Hi, I'm not sure. I don't measure it, it's standard faux leather thickness. I buy a lot of faux leather from Etsy and Amazon and none of them have the thicknesses listed, but they all work with the Cricut. :)

Extremely useful, as I intend to buy a Joy Xtra for mainly making faux leather earrings.
I'm glad it helped, Lynda! I would say hold off on the Joy Xtra until they update the material settings and allow you to repeat the cut.

What makes it extra..the og joy does the same
It does Print then Cut which the original Joy doesn't. :) Also the mat is sized for 8.5 x 11 paper, perfect for sticker makers.
