Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it. There are some codes I could have used to prevent crashes, however they weren't used in this series, mostly to give myself a bit of a challenge when recording.
@@OmniGlitcher Ah shit, here we go again. Worst place in the world. Rollin Heights Balla country. I ain't represented Grove Street in five years, but the Ballas won't give a shit
Thanks! The gist of it is in the description, but you need to find the freecam code online, then load it either using an emulator, or via a PS2 that can load hacks (e.g. with a FreeMCBoot card).
They nearly had enough to make a small open world. 3 even since the other continents are just as detailed. It could of been how midnight club did its maps back in the day.
Unfortunately it's not nearly as open as you may think, look at Waterfront or Downtown for example. But if we had the models extractedm you certainly could connect all the regional tracks together.
The building on the lake at 1:05 on the left is actually specified to be a boat rental, and has similar looking boats, so presumably they come from there!
@@OmniGlitcher ah yeah I see that. Just that those boats are too big for that lake, and the trussed bridge at the end probably doesn't lift up, so they're kinda pointless and hard to explain how they even got there. But, that's just pushing semantics to videogame logic
I really like the turbo blow-off sound of this car, the R34 Skyline had the same one in NFS Carbon (the red one you are given in of the pursuit challenge series events)
Bit of a correction here, in Carbon the Skyline only has this blow-off sound if you're using manual and let it redline or get close before you shift up
OK, after some testing it turns out that it's the Tier 3 Turbocharger upgrade that has that sound attached to it, but you need to use manual transmission because the car has to be redlined for this specific blowoff soundbite to play during upshifts, though it is often heard during downshifts as well, even just letting go of the gas can trigger it since the blowoff event activates in that scenario too. Seems to work regardless of whether you're playing a last gen or next gen release of the game
I do not own and have never played Flatout 2, nor do I even know if it's possible to do this kind of thing in that game. So I think that's going to be a no from me, for the time being at least.
that's one of the places that contains my childhood
How you did this without crashing is beyond me. Not the hero we asked for, but the hero we needed. Amazing stuff man
Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Idk how those catamarans made it past the bridge, or would be on a lake that small, but they look cool!

Dude what an amazing and unique content you create! Really loved your channel just like I love Burnout 3

Nice!! It would be cool to also have the menu sattellite map as a minimap to see where we currently are in the track :D
can you do the overhead view from Flatout 2? i like to see the downtown and canal maps from above
