Delicate vocals and dreamy soundscapes... I'm in love. Love the build up towards the end with Chris on background vocals... Fucking beautiful.
This song leaked years ago with the former titles 'Sun Ate the Moon', along with 'Samaritan' / 'Lifeline', 'Elias' / 'Come Like The Cure', 'Satellite' / 'Child in the Dark', 'Rush' / 'No Show' and 'Tigers' / 'Stripes'. People were curious to know if were really Sneaker Pimps songs. Now you know. :)

The new creation out of those leaked demos is brilliant nonetheless.

What ur feelings on the rhythm of satellite on this album? I'm waiting on it to grow on me. But I favor the original.
@@jinifur So far I favor the originals, but that is almost sentimental value on my part. The Chris Corner Sneaker Pimps/IAMX b-sides have been super therapeutic for me.
This is definitely sneaker pimps and that bass synth in chorus, very smooth and nice. Such a beautiful song! ❤️

Was at work listening to the album and
this song comes on and I had to pause everything I was doing just to really listen to it. Completely caught me by surprise. I love it, so much so that I had to listen to it another 2 times before I continued with the rest of the album.

Ngl, kinda feel frustrated seeing all those comments from people whining that this album doesn't sound like old SP. Just like in the old sp videos you always see some mf complaining about kelly not being the singer anymore. But i suppose thats to be expected after such a long break. I just hope Chris and Liam keep making music together
This IS totally old school SP sound brought to modern times. This track is the natural evolution of the sound they were developing in tracks like 6 Underground. That kind of "morning vibes" atmospheric trip-hop.
@@beepst I agree with you. What i meant to say is that, after such a long break, its to be expected that there will be people complaining about the new music not sounding like before
I think a lot of the people dissatisfied with the album are those that think in terms of genre/style rather than in terms of composition. Also, each of the original SP albums (as well as the demos) sounded very different from each other, so it's very easy for people to set expectations and disappoint themselves. I didn't know what to expect, but I really dig it.
I always get frustrated about bands that never change. I love to see artists growing and trying new things. If I enjoy older records, I don't expect to hear the same over and over. I just enjoy older records :D but I really like most songs from this album too, even tho Splinter is my all time favourite 💗 I hope they will continue recording new things

I might even say that, in the case of sp, their own personal style of composition shared some characteristics with trip hop, but that genre was not necesarily one that they adhered strongly to throughout their carrer. Trying to say they betrayed their old sound or genre seems to me very vague and subjective
This songs makes me think of Mass Effect/Want to play Mass Effect.
Best song on the album by far. It has that old school Sneaker Pimps trip-hop sound. I wish the rest of the album was more like this..

This song leached onto me after my cousin had an overdose two days ago and it came on the radio. Not sure what it means but I’ve never heard of sneakier pimps until this year. And when I heard news of my gma passing imagine dragons wrecked came on the radio shortly after I heard. So now I associate and remember them through music. The songs seem to match their energy.
