yes, many magicians. Sometimes we dont use money, instead we think if we sing the right song, dance the right dance, God shows up. Same thing. If we think we can influence God by our great sacrifice, same thing. We must humble ourselves and acknowledge that apart from the blood of Jesus cleansing us, we are not worthy to even enter in to God's presence. Everything else is presumption and magical thinking.
Thank you Lord for your word. Help us to grow closer to you in this trying time. As we read the Bible, pray more and closer being with Jesus. Help our spouses, children, parents and siblings to give their lives to God. It may be difficult and challenging for some, many are on the brink of giving up hope on themselves or loved ones but Lord HELP us. You are the only way!
