Id wanted to read this book and tried three times, but each time was futile as i became distracted or just couldn’t read it. But then I found this and oh my goodness it has been amazing. Finally i finished the book, and with amazing voice acting no less!! Thank you so much for this!!

By far Stephen Stanton is the best narrator of this great story. My favorite movie is Disney's 1934 version with Wallace Berry as Long John, and Lionel Barrymore Lionel as Black Dog, although Jackie Cooper is awful as Jim Hawkins, and you may lay to that.
Hi, Murky Vista, just a small correction to make. The Disney Version was made in 1950 and started Bobby Driscoll as Jim Hawkins and Robert Newton as Long John Silver. The 1934 film is black and white and was produced by MGM. You did correctly recall the actors and their parts. Both are good films. I will also recommend 1990’s TREASURE ISLAND. A young Christian Bale plays Jim and Oliver Reed plays Billy Bones like he was born for it. Charleton Heston is the only American but does a marvelous job of capturing the treacherous side of LJ Silver. But Stephen Stanton, you have topped them all with this magnificent reading! Bravo, I am recommending it to all my friends, “and you may may to that!”
