that EMR Regional train service to Liverpool Lime Street as that company taken over this route from Northern trains? as ive never seen that all Blue with yellow doors EMR train at Line Street in the past, ive seen the other EMR trains at Liverpool the ones to Norwich
The EMR 156's and153's are all blue. The 158's are a different livery. In the past the Liverpool - Norwich was nearly always a pair of 158's with the train splitting at Nottingham. One unit would go onto Norwich, while the other would be attached to the next train from Norwich to Liverpool. Recently though 156's and 153's have become common and sometimes just a 2 car service as illustrated in the video. What intrigues me is the Liverpool - Norwich 158/153 working in the video. Did the 153 work alone to Norwich as it would have been the front train when it split?
Nice one MT! Great 150s
Good video from Sheffield. I did a evening peak spotting session as well at Sheffield and was brilliant :-)
Awesome video I've subscribed to your channel
Is train available for public now or still for keyworkers?

No, they've always run the Norwich-Lime Street route, usually 158s.
@@roberthawkins4524 I was referring to the all blue train not the 3 colour ones as I know about them, its just the other colour thats thrown me
@@tonyp011 yeah thats just the newish livery

Absolutely ridiculous to see Cross country trains so short. It is a main artery and everything is short-formed. People standing up in the last shots.

Would be great if they would replace the class 43 HST with class 800 in the future
HST Hater
They’ve already done that and it isn’t great.
Those 'plastic' 800's are not a patch on our great HST's. Never again will we get engineering on par to our finest train makers.
