Life does things like that. On the first day of a contract in Mauritius, I get a call to say that a 1-inch water pipe in my house (in France) had detached. The neighbour had seen water lapping gently up against the inside of my glass-fronted door. The leak was after the meter as well so I was also paying for all that water gently soaking into my newly laid and untreated hardwood floors. There were people available to fix it immediately but, I hadn't reckoned on them needing official authorisation to enter the property in my absence. That took three days. Six months of damp walls, floors and electrics and an interesting bloom of mould greeted me when I got back.
glad everyone was safe and sorry to hear about your dog dude, hits close to home for me. life works in contrast, hot and cold. now things are looking up and you got a shiny new truck.

I look at it like this his channel is about his work life and what and how he does his job. It's not a friends and family video, to be honest he really don't have anyone else but him once in a great while you'll see some friends that are in the business but again that's work related. Now that is said, let me say this what every gender he is interested in shouldn't have a bearing on if you like the channel or not. He does not shove his boyfriend, girlfriend, wife, husband,or lover in your face so why does people get hung up on what he does and prefers. I think that no matter what he puts out awesome content and has always done so. Me personally I'm straight but if a person has their preference and they don't shove it down your throat then why make a big deal about it. I feel like this if it makes you happy, the everyone else doesn't need to worry about it. It's none of their business. Keep up the hard work Chris and don't pay attention to nosey people that wanna have a say so.

Let me say this just once clear as day so you guys understand, your all missing the point we should not even be here talking about man or women kids this isn't the channel for that why is everyone so caught up on what, who, how, and when Chris prefers something or someone. We should not even be discussing that it's not our place to talk about it not comment on what we think other people should do. That's all I'm saying this lame conversation takes away from the channel and the person Chris is,if it were anyone's business then Chris would put a big alert that says hey everyone please tell me how to live my life. Be careful with the key fob.. if its in your pocket, or in the console, the tailgate can open up if something hits the button. We have an F250 SD work truck and its opened up while going down the highway with a trailer. The tailgate trim got jacked up from bouncing on the trailer jack handle. My advice is to put the keys in the cubby on the top of the dash.
You need a wifi booster. They’re pretty inexpensive. We got one because we had the same problems with it to reach our lover pastures, we got a wifi booster and now we have full WiFi everywhere on the farm.👍😋
How can you register the truck and rip the emissions off ? North Carolina has inspections for trucks that require the emissions be in place and that's requirement whether the truck is registered as commercial or private. I know they are cracking down big time now.
I guess I just don’t fit that stereotype. All of the toy work trucks that I’ve got in my fleet because I can’t drive the real ones are either made by jeep, land rover, and Mercedes-Benz.
Put some Ford wheel well liners in the rear wheel wells. Not very expensive. About a 10 minute install and they sure keep all the crap the wheels sling from getting under the bed sides. You will like the Ford Pass. Very handy.
I put on full length electric steps on a Dodge Ram what a difference it makes, no more ankle breakers from the bar steps, plus they hide up under the truck and really gives it a high profile look and they are adjustable for height. That is a nice looking truck you got by the way. Hide the KEY control and get one of those voice control security systems that will record what you want to say anytime if someone touches your vehicle, like stand back or your not driving my truck, you can record anything you want and use it for security on a vehicle, it is a really cool security system, check it out if you ever get the time !
Myself I prefer the original "Super Duty" body style that's been used since 99, the F-150 body Ford is using never grew on me. I wouldn't touch a 6.7 with a 10 foot pole if you live in a drier climate you might be fine, out on the West Coast where I'm where you have temperature swings. DEF systems fail the moisture in the air wreaks havoc on sensors. After driving the 2013 F350 4x4 6.2 company truck for the last 3 years I'm sold on the 6.2 gas the truck hasn't seen an easy life, I'm not the only one that drives it.
Yar Nunya Can’t afford a new truck a 2020 F350 4x4 crew cab XLT with a 7.3 gas would be pushing 65,000 dollars Canadian. A truck like the white truck Chris bought are pushing 90,000 dollars Canadian.

Ok don't let him take it out then. The whole point is if you warm up a push button car for someone and you forget to pass on the key some has to bring the key to wherever they shut it down
@@ford_drivingbuilder4225 you do realize that if the person does NOT have the keyfob within a close distance of the vehicle, it isn't going anywhere, right? It's called a "proximity" device for a reason. I have to admit to smiling when I saw it was a Ford. I spent my entire working life at Ford UK's Research & Engineering Centre (Later renamed Product Development). We heard that Ford US actually lost money on its car sales, but that Truck sales more than made up for it. I can't resist a wee story... We used to get up to 20% discount on new cars, which meant you could always have a new car and barely be out of pocket, so everyone made use of the discount. It meant that at the end of a shift you'd walk out to the car park and see an ocean of Ford vehicles in this years colour, and it was a nightmare trying to locate your own car.

New truck keys stay with YOU when you leave the country from now on. Mystery driver can use the backup. :D
glad everyone was safe and sorry to hear about your dog dude, hits close to home for me. life works in contrast, hot and cold. now things are looking up and you got a shiny new truck.
Imagine getting a call saying your dog got attacked and is at the vet and then a couple hours later you get a call saying your trucks totaled
Almost as bad as my cousin getting a phone call that the abusive father of her children somehow got full custody and 10min later getting the call that her dad died 5min down the road from her house. Life is rough sometimes.
I just watched this and in the current market they both are probably worth more than what you paid for them. Who would have thought buying a new vehicle would be a good investment. 😉
If you want to keep that pretty truck clean I’d recommend getting that thing ceramic coated.
Put black 18" rims on it, and all-terrain tyres (cooper, or Nitto like a 285-70-18 size) not the other rubbish tyre brands, and get the chassis and underneath the truck rust protected.
I hope your dog gets better soon.
it's "tire" In America not "tyre" that's how they spell it in Europe
No kids=no future
Oh I'm sorry did it say at the end of that for you to put your two cents in na, I didn't think so. And if you were smart at all you would realize that the statement you made was and is very ignorant. For the future if I say HEY PLEASE REPLY to what I comment then please do, but if I'm commenting to the creator of the channel then that probably means I'm not talking to you. Sorry if I offend anyone but I really hate ignorance, and stupid neither one can be fixed. Have a great day yall.
Triggered
Let me say this just once clear as day so you guys understand, your all missing the point we should not even be here talking about man or women kids this isn't the channel for that why is everyone so caught up on what, who, how, and when Chris prefers something or someone. We should not even be discussing that it's not our place to talk about it not comment on what we think other people should do. That's all I'm saying this lame conversation takes away from the channel and the person Chris is,if it were anyone's business then Chris would put a big alert that says hey everyone please tell me how to live my life. I don't know about you but I have never seen anything like that so just watch the channel enjoy or don't but don't tell him how he should live life it's not for anyone else but him to decide. Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
@@shanesnouffer1977 well to be honest it's really ignorant or stupid of you to think you can control the comment sections on UA-cam. Rather I agree with you or not is irrelevant in this case, but you can't silence people on a comment section...1st amendment rights and all. Honestly if people are being respectful, a healthy dialogue is good, and there is always the option to agree to disagree and move on. Just my 2 cents.
Sorry, didn't mean to cause such a commotion. It doesn't matter, some people like to stay private. Still enjoying watching all his videos.
What commotion did you cause???😕😕😕
The trucks are nice but what about the dog ? Please let us see him/her . We have seen them in the background of previous videos Thanks
I love my 2019 f150 . 5.0 engine and 10 speed tranny. White is the best color. Got white like yours. Setting on 35's. 20inch rims. Loaded.
You work hard to have nice things Chris, ain't nothing wrong with that.
Anybody can tell you love your trucks and anybody who doesn't love Ford just hasn't learned yet.I pissed off a Chevy guy by saying that one time. These are good times for you Chris and I hope they continue. Cheers!
It's your money as you work hard for it so please yourself first not others. AMAZING.
Fantastic....I’m a Ford “Bigdeez” fan myself....your kind of work can’t prosper without a good trucks. You’ll kick yourself thinking about the purchases but every time you get in either truck you will feel it is worth it.....
Your like me...three things I treasure, my truck, my dog, & my wife
Eric Simkins : Uhh... He may be like you when it comes to the truck and the dog. But he ain't got no wife bud. Go check out his other channel FarmLifeNC and you will see his "wife" is a man. Or maybe he's the "female" in the relationship and he's the "wife".
in that order.........
TrailTrackers I don’t think he’s gay I think they bought it as buddies but I could be wrong
@@patrickwheatley6156 : Dude... You're wrong and you already know it. You just don't want it to be true is all. You've watched the channel for a long time and now you'd feel violated if it were true, so you don't want it to be. I get it. Personally, I had to take a shower.
Jessica D makes sense for sure
Sorry to hear about your dog and truck. Glad to hear no one was hurt and congrats on the new trucks. Very nice! I completely get it the 19 is way too nice to work out of 👍🏻. Looking forward to seeing it leveled
So sorry to hear that, very sad! Who is David?
Danny Harris that’s his partner
Walter Whitman yes
Walter Whitman yes go check out farm life nc his boyfriend is on there that’s his other channel also watch the very first video he put on here
@@walterwhitman2608 lmfao!
Chuck Finly he says with a friend who is gonna farm there. Never does he say a significant other or boyfriend
Beautiful truck, sorry about the dog.
American pickup trucks are fantastic but wouldn’t suit us in Ireland, diesel per gallon at the minute is around $8 !!
Thankful no one was hurt in the Wreck and how is your dog??? God bless Chris and congratulations on your new truck
You need a wifi booster. They’re pretty inexpensive. We got one because we had the same problems with it to reach our lover pastures, we got a wifi booster and now we have full WiFi everywhere on the farm.👍😋
Metal can be replaced, Life can't, Glad everyone is out of the accident safe.
How can you register the truck and rip the emissions off ? North Carolina has inspections for trucks that require the emissions be in place and that's requirement whether the truck is registered as commercial or private. I know they are cracking down big time now.
Man, it's hilarious that you have a Sunday F-250 and a daily driver F-250. Ain't no doubt that you're a Carolina boy! 🤣😂 Congratulations!
Very handy.
Congrats on the new truck. Sucks that you lost your old truck. Hope your dog pulls threw.
I can smell the NEW from here!
Whattaya mean it won't drive by itself!!! Yes, hope your doggo is ok and great that no one was hurt.
Sorry to hear about your bad news Chris, at least no one was injured. I love the new trucks.
A truck like the white truck Chris bought are pushing 90,000 dollars Canadian.
dont fire it up for your wife and forget to give her the key. when she turns it off at the store she wont be able to get home. or maybe let her its up to you lol.
Ford_driving HiPPi he doesn’t have a wife he has a male partner
Ok don't let him take it out then. The whole point is if you warm up a push button car for someone and you forget to pass on the key some has to bring the key to wherever they shut it down
@@ford_drivingbuilder4225 you do realize that if the person does NOT have the keyfob within a close distance of the vehicle, it isn't going anywhere, right? It's called a "proximity" device for a reason. Just like any other remote starter - step on the brake or gas, it shuts off the vehicle - been like that since I got my first remote start in '04 for my Durango, with that one you needed to actually turn the key - either way, same concept
@@MikeT-TheRetiredColonel I have seen it happen with a GMC Yukon. The husband was in the driver's seat truck running. He got out his wife went to the grocery store. She bought food and couldn't restart it. I know it's not supposed to happen but it can.
@@ford_drivingbuilder4225 You lost one truck, and you buy three other trucks
I bought a 2016 f150 this is my first new vehicle too , I enjoy watching all of your videos.
Hey Chris..I think you need to cover something here. How's your dog doing?
TheSoloAsylum yeah. How is the co-driver?
Love your new truck bud you deserve a new one
That's a nice pair 'o trucks ya got there!! Thanks for sharin' your story and glad everyone's ok!
While it’s still new and hasn’t been scratched up, you should take it to a good detailer and have it paint corrected and ceramic coated. Protect it from the elements, especially being in the dirt and mud and what not on job sites. Protect that investment, it’s not cheap.
Great looking truck!!! The upgrades will make it even better!!! Only thing I’d add that you didn’t mention would be some HD bumpers, like Ranchhand or something like that. Maybe a winch
Chris , so sorry your dog was hurt, i'm also glad the person driving your truck wasn't hurt ! Family ,dogs and friends "god bless" ! hate to be the bearer of bad news " lord ,you had enough lately " but your pole barn just got a lot smaller!!!!! HAHAHA
Being successful is a beautiful thing.
That Sunday truck will cost you $5,000 or more in depreciation on a yearly basis. It does look awesome.
It lost 5k going off the lot, but who cares, it's sweet.
If he hangs onto it then it doesn't really matter.
@@daneclark3161 For Chris, you are probably correct.
There are many tax breaks that are business-related.
I think Chris has only had 2 other pickups (Least hes shown on YT) so hes not the type of guy to replace every few years unless forced to. If your goal is to keep a motor 10 plus years then new is probably the best way to do it as its looked after from day 1.
@@HughzieTube It all depends on the size of your operation and the skill of your tax accountant. Many businesses have a gazillion opportunities to leverage the tax code.
I once knew a guy who changed machinery well within 10 years. He felt the tax benefits were way too attractive to pass up on.
Maxxis Razor MT tires great mud tire and quiet, as quiet as the tires you have on their now. Using for snow right now, dug my azz out already out of a drift.

Ford recall on Michelin tires think it was 2015-2019 certain vehicles/trucks cars
The way you work bub, those trucks will be payed for in a couple of months.... the new Volvo on the other hand....
Sorry you had all the dilemmas while u were gone. But congrats on the new trucks !! Bouggt my first new truck in 20 years last November. 2018 f350 crew cab. Ruby red and I love it !!!!!
Such is life..have to roll with the punches glade everyone is okay and hope your pup makes a speedy recovery..dogs are family.
It meant that at the end of a shift you'd walk out to the car park and see an ocean of Ford vehicles in this years colour, and it was a nightmare trying to locate your own car.
pull that chrome cap off of your key fob and you will find the key
Sweet ride, but im sure the tailgate is what got you lol. I love my 2012 f250 has all the same options ford app and sync 3 are awesome.
Cost of Truck: $30,000. Professional tint and toolbox install: $70,000! 🤪 It’s a beautiful truck, enjoy it as it’s the fruit of your hard work.
Y'all looking for any help. You work alot and you deserve it.
Chris - thankfully no one was hurt as you said, but think of this - had you NOT been on vacation, it might have been you driving during the accident and the outcome could have been different, with you being hurt or killed. Glad it's worked out ok. Nice trucks!
