This narrator has more nuance in their voice, this time than the other videos in the past. This video was easier to watch. If it’s the same narrator, then you did a good job to make the video more interesting. Keep it up.
I enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work. I took the Celebrity Summit to Alaska last July. I knew it was an old ship, and wished the shows were more "my jam". The deal I got was very good.
Question- what did your nephew and the rest of the family think? Where they happy with their decision? Its apparent you preferred Edge class before even on setting foot on the ship and during the sailing. However, you were doing this for the family. The itinerary and excursions looked great.
The itinerary and excursions were fun. The family did like the cruise. My nephew starred at his phone the whole time, so he would have been fine on any ship.
We highly recommend this itinary. On November 2, 2025, we sailed from Porto Rico and, our booked excursions were done via the cruise line. What we especially liked on this, our 23 cruise, were the central Leaward Islands. We are no longer interested in the itinaries from Ft. Lauderdale or Miami...too much of the same boring stops, especially the fake private islands.
I’m surprised how “dated” you said this ship is. I seriously didn’t see anything “dated”. All the places you showed seemed very nice. I really loved the Solarium Of course the Edge class ships will look more updated because they are newer. But I guess after newer ships are built, you will be saying the Edge class is dated. 😂
A different perspective.... You are speaking as a well experienced traveler and are comparing, constantly, your favorite Edge class of ship to the ship you are on. Not really a fair comparison. For those on their 1st cruise, or those with a few cruises, this ship may be fine. As a senior, I will not be doing any zip lines or water slides or rock climbing. Or fine dining. I am not alone. I there are millions of people like me. In your opening comments, you said that this ship may not be used to family cruising. And that is OK. Your video of the food in the restaurant and desert places shows European / Asian sized portion control which you seem to not have realized. This is an interesting point in that IF the cruiser can control their appetite, they may actually lose weight on the cruise if they avoid snacks and multiple helping to create American sized proportions. But then, many choose to cruise due to the ability to engorge themselves. Question is, did your family have a good time? Was the value received worth the value paid? All in all, your comments sound like you are the adult in the room, and have simply decided to 'go with the flow' with the family's collective decision.
Thanks for watching. Overall, are family had a good time and enjoyed this more than mega ships they have been on in the past. For the price, it was worth it has it was about half the price of other trips with the drink package and service charges. So while it wasn’t the best ship, the total experience was worth it.
@@Eatsleepcruise1 Glad you had a good time. I did check out the link you provided to your favorite travel agency. They appear to be owned by or substantially attached to Disney. Their packages - Cruises- are notably more expensive than you can get from other cruise related websites. I was specifically looking at the cost per night as listed for those cruises.

Thanks for the feedback. We will keep improving. Any specific videos you are interested in having us do?

Alaska is beautiful! Have you tired the edge class?

@Eatsleepcruise1 LOL
I am with you 50%
Agree -I want more sea days than port days
Disagree small older ships the best
Celebrity summit was nice, but no edge. Have you sailed on that class?

The itinerary was great. What other Caribbean destinations do you recommend?

The pool deck had seen better days for sure. But many of the public spaces were spruced up. Have you sailed on this class of ship?
If you go on the ship with a negative vibe, then it carries over to the cruise, so I discount how you feel about the Summit.
If you watch the video I said it was better than expected.

16 minutes felt like an hour. Unsubscribed.
