I've been an SM stan for almost 10 years and she is my absolute favourite voice to come out of SM. Listening to her actually makes me want to cry, her voice is just phenomenal.
And she's not belting it, or screaming, or dumping it out there. She sounds so soft, so flowy, she caressing each note gently, smoothly. That's one hell of a vocal performance.

As someone who have experienced singing with a live band, you can tell why Wendy is really in the zone. I swear there's just something about performing with a band and hearing all the instruments live that makes you lose yourself to the music. This is absolutely brilliant. Some vocalists, although they are known as good at high-notes, but when you listen it, sometimes you suddenly feel a bit noisy and uncomfortable, also the voice is quite monotonic; but when you listen the high-notes from Wendy, it is different, her voice contains different layers, it is very smooth and very natural; everything is perfect.

Live band are really good. Like what IZ*ONE done with ONEIRIC. Though it was for dancing, title tracks performed by live band sound so good. It's so catchy.

This is absolutely brilliant. Some vocalists, although they are known as good at high-notes, but when you listen it, sometimes you suddenly feel a bit noisy and uncomfortable, also the voice is quite monotonic; but when you listen the high-notes from Wendy, it is different, her voice contains different layers, it is very smooth and very natural; everything is perfect.
Wendy really solidified herself as an artist and singer and not just an idol. I'm forever proud of you, Wannie!! 🥺💙
