joy i have an answer whether u will understand it or not i don't know...... reaarange ment happens by shifting of electron to the empty p orbital as in the case of sp2 carbon in carbocation right ??? but in the case of carbanion already filled p orbital is present ..(sp3) that's why there will be repulsion .....and no rearrengement ...i think that would the reason ...
