I so appreciate the emphasis on the excellent handling of important issues with no mention of political parties or attempts at nationalism. And i love the role Henry brings to the mix, ethics and theology. Living deeply real issues with great actors.
LOL, you noticed too. So obvious :) But ohmygod i would melt if i had that look from her. Keeps amazing me what a beautiful face and expression she has.. But truth to be told, it's all the characters that make it work in the series.
Good catch. She has deep respect for him and vise versa. Nice group of people; there’s a genuineness you don’t normally see in TV stars or most people for that matter. I wish government was actually run like what we get to see in the show. Wishful thinking perhaps!
It is now 2021 and I finished watching the whole series on Netflix this year. So, I’m late to the game. I was a “public servant” for my entire career and served on town and county boards. And as a chair of our local Democratic Party. I can tell you that even local politics? Ain’t easy. Wasn’t then. Isn’t now. Bravo on the best show, probably ever, about the American struggle with Democracy and the Democratic process.
I love that someone mentioned how the producers are making sure people see this show! I only was able to watch because of Netflix. I wasn’t aware of the show until then but I’m so happy Netflix had it available to watch. 🖤
From one of your episodes which I've only recently been able to resume seeing since antennas and other issues have gotten in the way including a time when it was even off the air and no one seemed to know whether it was ever going to come back on after the first few episodes about which I was very concerned I even thought there might be some sabotage involves - for the last five years but, I quote, ( from the secretary / president) People who provide the spark don't always get to sit by the fire ... wow. May life imitate art soon! Needless to say this is an incredible show and the energy, vitality , and reality the Creator Barbara Hall and others bring to it is a Force to be reckoned with.
@Holly I know you posted this video more than 5 years ago, but I just stumbled across it and wanted to thank you so much for putting it out there. There are 7 seasons of Madam Secretary and I am on my 7th time going through all of them. They've been on loop for me for months and are how I get through 12 bour shifts every day. Thank you for giving me this little bit of insight into something I already love so much. On a personal level, I greatly appreciate it.
Laurie the executive producer answers the realms of parallelism . GREAT choice to have this presentation at the center for media. FACE the NATION . I loved the guest appearance with Cicely TYSON As the centenarian . THIS SHOW SIMPLY Excellent and elegantly written . I wanted to be President of the USA still believing. I lived to love RON Emmanuel . BEBE a real advocate for liberty.
Guys, look at the way Tea Leoni is looking at Tim when he's talking about their "tv" marriage (about time-code 39 min) - that's not acting - that's love, true love.
Oh this was a prize to find, I just finished the last and 6th season of this show on Netflix, I can't believe it was on there I guess for years, but I never watched it until a week ago, I just decided to give a try, I I did think it was going to be like some others I've not watched, but heard of, where people are just stabbing each other in the back, like a lot of dramas do most of time now, but instead all the characters are great and getting along and just fighting against all the bad in the world, instead of each other, well except for bad politicians in it of course, lol! I do wish it could have continued though, because there is really nothing else that's as good, at least not that I haven't already seen, lol! But I love that it ended well, there are so many shows that went on for as long or longer, then they ended it so horribly, that I can't stand rewatching it even, because i know how horribly it ended, but this one ended perfectly! I actually mostly decided to give it a try because I had always loved Tea Leoni, ever since The Naked Truth, but i hadn't seen her in anything new in a long time, and I knew nothing much of the show, but I sure glad I decided to finally watch it, just wish I had known how good it was when it was on! To me it's the best show CBS has ever had, at least for as far back as I can remember. And now I wish we could all live in the world of Madam Secretary, where Donald Trump never became president!
Paleontologist The Paley center for human literacy. This interview with BARBARA Hall and the cast from MAdame President educated the general public for Politcal policy and procedures. GREAT INTERVIEW.
Hi, I just couldn't help to notice that Tea in her younger age has similar features with Meagan fox. Specially when she was cast in "Bad Boys". Also about most of the audience, they seems to be University students basing on their questions... Kudos to the actors!
I love this show, though politically I don't agree with a lot, like West Wing, I love this because it shows the human side. I love how Elizabeth has to deal with power of world wide diplomacy and come home and raise teenagers and keep her marriage together. She makes mistakes, she deals with heart ache, and anxiety. The politics aren't the key, the people and relationships are the key to the show for me.
I like this series with these good actors. But the political content is often wrong. In contrast to the other countries, the USA is always portrayed gloriously and correctly. This is not the case in real life with its many violent actions and wars.
It really is going parallel reality, it just updated a new episode about American measles season five when in reality this is what's happening, the parents' reason for not vaccinating kids are exactly fear of autism ;)
I so appreciate the emphasis on the excellent handling of important issues with no mention of political parties or attempts at nationalism. And i love the role Henry brings to the mix, ethics and theology. Living deeply real issues with great actors.

Absolutely love the actors, the writers, the storylines, thank you for this gift to the world.
Still the best show on TV. Loved this, love the whole cast!
I love this show and was sad to see it end. I guess it’s time to rewatch it.
29:44 "We all go home and get in bed and snuggle up with something" the LOOKS they give each other after that😍😂
orianne97 omg ikr! so cute
Tea Leoni e' sortuda!!! Pegar Tim Daly 😍
Are they together??
I miss Bebe Neuwirth as Nadine.
You and I both 😔
She was awesome as Lilith, on Cheers and even better on Frasier!! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The way Téa looks at Tim at 13:24 and 13:44 when he's talking about Henry and Elizabeth's marriage! 😍❤️
LOL, you noticed too. So obvious :) But ohmygod i would melt if i had that look from her. Keeps amazing me what a beautiful face and expression she has.. But truth to be told, it's all the characters that make it work in the series.
she looks like 👁👄👁

I love how their audience is made of so many smart women!!!

My favorite show, ever! My husband watched it with my from start to finish recently and loved it too!!
29:48 Téa's like, "why do you have to tell everyone about our personal life?" lmao
I love that someone mentioned how the producers are making sure people see this show! I only was able to watch because of Netflix. I wasn’t aware of the show until then but I’m so happy Netflix had it available to watch. 🖤
Did anyone else notice that when Téa moved her chair back, she moved it so she was closer to Tim🤗
They are a couple IRL.
Tim e' doce puro ! 😉
Great cast. Love this show and hope it goes for at least another 7 seasons.
I watch it for relaxation and education about government politics. Luvvv this show❤

The show ended too soon. Could have watched another 3-4 seasons for sure!
Excellent entertainment with a superb cast!

I would love to see an update to this.
Favorite part 26:49 the golf question... LOL

Tim Daly e' homem do primeiro mundo. 🤗

JMU Alum!!!

Didn't Both the President Decide to say no to Both The Democrats and The Republicans and (spoiler alert) still win?
😊👍🏻

Seasons 1-3 were great, first half of season 4 was good . Season 5 and 6 ? Hot garbage.
Oh please. These people tell stories on camera. Nothing more.
