My belt broke and I put a new one on, I have great take of, as I got a big bore on it. But it's like on top have the same top speed anymore. Almost feels like my belt is slipping sometime. Like it would of the engine was putting. It engine is running fine tho. I checked my weights too their all good. Bike ran great before the belt broke. Now I just don't have the same top speed :(

belt on my 139qmb seems worn , measured 17 mm or less wide, think it should be 18 mm. can see an exposed plastic thread in the side of belt probably from wear, should be rubber covering that l guess, l read other ways than impact wrench like electric can damage variator. read in a forum ,

If you're referring to this belt in the video, it's not a "timing belt", more like a "drive belt". Google the type of scooter you have and what belt it needs. Or, look at the broken belt and get the number off of that.
I’ve owned 11 scooters, my second scooter had the belt brake while I was driving it, good thing I had my dad on his motorcycle with me, I usually ride by myself and I like in the country in Illinois so I go far, with no phone, anyway we had to bring my van to pick up the scooter at a old church in the middle of corn fields.🛵

for the crankshaft on the front of the belt? it sometimes does but careful not to damage the engine. it's better to lock it up and pound on the breaker bar so it has a similar effect as an impact rather than just try to bust it loose and possibly damage your engine.
@@MNDashcam everybody says its easy but its not the nuts are lock on or welded with lock tight etc. you need to pay somebody hundred dollars and hour to do repair that's not fair

My flywheel won’t come off mine any tips to help remove it ?
He saved me $100 today
Where do starter bendix bushing go.
My starter bendix keeps shaking loose, why?
the nuts on my MVP scooter must have been welded on
Probably need an impact to get it loose

You can put a metal bar in the rim and lock the wheel enough to get the bolt loose.

Clutch is worn or belt is
broken
Can I use brake or carb cleaner to clean the clutch ?
Yes , the cleaner will evaporate

Never pinch the belt on front vari. More belt slack is needed ! Poor tech
does someone know how long belt i need in Peugeot vivacity 50cc skootter
google it!!
you would be better off just going to the local cycle shop and tell them the scooter you have they will help you with the right belt
I installed a new belt and now my tire doesn’t spin when I engage the throttle
It broke. Sell it and buy a Fiat.
I can not get those last two bolts off to save my life
I know righttttttttttttt!!
Where do you find a belt like this

Can you do this without an impact gun?
yes. just lock up the rear tire by putting a block of wood or hammer handle or something through the rim. then spin off like a regular bolt.
Thanks man! Does this method work for the front cog as well?

I couldn't do it. I tried.
For the front cog, you're just turning the engine over. I really think an impact wrench is necessary.
Virtually identical to my Lexmoto pulse scout thank you very much I appreciate your upload and time to make this video with your knowledge mate!
Very very good instructions I would love to see more from him on different things.

That isn't quite right. I bet if you took it to a shop and just asked them to loosen the nut really nicely they would probably do it for free.
I did answer was sorry can't do
ok
