omg this is so wonderful. how humble and generous he is with his fans. It's just so so heart warming to see him like this :) I mean he must be tired and a busy person but look at him? he smiled and thanked every one of them and also answers their questions, he could just walk out in his car. I must say, so called "star actors" should learn from him how to win hearts :) I 'm so touched and sad at the same time knowing he is no more :( WHY MAN WHY? It's so UNFAIR, we won't be able to see him again?????? This is so unfair, at least I could dream to meet him one day, but now it's all gone. He has left him generosity, kindness, some unforgettable piece of works and some lovely memories for us.
In all honesty, his father died of cancer when he was 8. Alan died of pancreatic cancer. In other words, it seems that cancer ran in his family. So we were very lucky to have him for as long as we did. I try to think of it that way anyway.
Watching this is really interesting after having done that autograph line for Seminar. I was there for one of his last performances in 2014. He seems tired. I imagine he would be. So it was SO gracious of him to accommodate everyone. From what I recall, he apparently developed walking pneumonia during the play's run. I remembered than when I saw him kind of pull his collar closer as the breeze hit him. I also recalled we'd lose him in 2016 so it's entirely possible that he was developing the illness that took him from us even then. Makes me feel quite melancholy. I'm glad he lived his life to the fullest.

the woman who complimented him on the scene in sense and sensibility, when he saw Kate Winslet for the first time, is absolutely right !!! I could watch that movie just because of that very scene over and over ... I do miss him !!!

"can i take a picture with you?" "you can take a picture OF me" i would sob 😭 im not saying he should have taken a picture with her by the way- he was tired, busy, sick, and had alot more to sign. but id be so embarrassed 😭😭
i love how they respected his boundary like no chaos and just patiently waiting to sign their papers (idk what its called) they just went shouting after he starts to leave. man, these kids/people so lucky to get close that much to alan. i love you alan.. praying for your soul together with my dad. also, may i ask what seminar is this?
