It was funny to see Haerin, who looks like a cat, thinking she was really a cat and eating Chur. The male doctor who first came out was actually a patient. It changes all the time because it is defined by others. I think the firefighters, police officers, Muslims, etc., who sat at the round table in the middle, expressed that we can all be like that. Also, because that place is defined by others, it is a place where New Jeans can be firefighters or soldiers by others. What Hani said seemed to be saying what she really wanted to say to the public and fans. She seems to have said that she is no different from Siri because we are the ones who only tell the public what they want. It seems satirical. Looking at the scene where the picture drawn by Haerin at the end becomes reality outside, it seems that the world outside this mental hospital refers to a world where imagination becomes reality and you can express yourself as you want. not defined by others
The Sleeping Beauty scene is a parody of a Canon camera CF created by a music video producer. take pictures in the woods It was about being eaten by a bear.
What people have pieced together so far is the five girls are all having separate delusions. Hanni thinks she’s an iPhone hence why she’s dressed as Steve Jobs. Hyein thinks she’s a princess in a storybook hence the Snow White and Cinderella imagery. Also, Heesoo, the girl with the camera from the Ditto MV, has a UA-cam channel where she said that Hyein has a princess complex lately. Haein thinks she’s a cat which is why she shape shifts into one briefly and is also eating a cat treat. Danielle thinks her and the girls are in a girl group named NewJeans and that they’re filming a music video which is why she even sees the crew filming the girls. Minji believes that she’s a doctor treating the girls. Towards the beginning of the song, she’s seen finding each girl and putting them in her ambulance. She even finds herself and puts her in. In the post-credits scene, Minji finds someone leaving a hate comment and tells them to come with her basically saying malicious commenters need psychiatric help lol. Some people believe this was added by the director who made this MV and the Ditto MV as he got a lot of malicious comments about Ditto to the point where he said he doesn’t want to make MVs for K-Pop anymore. What’s still unclear is who is real and who isn’t. Is Heesoo real and the girls fake? Even the doctors are shown having hallucinations so are they real? Someone suggested that Heesoo and the girls are all in a mental hospital and Heesoo just took them and put them into her own delusions while each girl has their own. I think they purposefully left it vague so people could have fun with theories.
Also the doctor is actor Kim Joo-Hun who has been in a few big K-dramas - Big Mouth, Its Okay To Not Be Okay and a cameo in AE Woo . And the guy at the end who picks up the cartoon drawings on the pad is famous cartoonist/webtoonist Lee Mal Nyeon (aka Calm Down Man on YT). And of course.. 2 Performance videos for "OMG" came out today.. 1 in OMG locations, 1 in Ditto locations!!

It’s hard to imagine what it would be like to follow this path in life, especially from such an early age when it is difficult enough to discover who you are. The lines between reality, fantasy, who you really are, and what people expect you to be must be confusingly blurred all the time. It must be like living a fantasy and at times a nightmare. All the while, you are trying to develop as an artist while entertaining people who will love you one minute and hate you the next for no good reason, and then discard you when the next new Sony thing catches their eye. IMO this video captures a lot of that while basically telling the people who invest too much of their time trying to control the narrative to step away from the fantasy and get a life. It’s only supposed to entertainment, after all.
Korean story-driven music videos are difficult to understand unless you focus on the visuals. This is because if you talk or look away in the middle, you may miss an important scene. ;)
