This is absolutely adorable. Cute Knut is getting more roly-poly and cuter every day it seems. I'd like to see the press take a second look a him and start to give him the favorable coverage they had in the past. He would bring so much joy and happiness into so many lives if his antics were reported and made available to more people.
Hey Liesel...this is GREAT..I love how he tries to make it squeak all over his enclosure...as if to say. it squeaks here...and here...and here....much better than the Kong toy with the short leash..;)
I also hope he will become a hollywood star someday. Last Christmas,after I watched Golden Compass, I thought he should have acted in Golden Compass if he was old enough.
I didn't realize Knut is a mountain goat! The way he maneuvers those steep "steps" I thought he was. See 2:22 thru 2:26. I'm no scientist but I've read that polar bear cubs are accident prone & clumsy & closely supervised by their moms until around 2 1/2. I'm just one of his adoring "aunties" & I wish he were in a more level polar bear cub enclosure. He has been sedated once for an injured foot and it's very risky.
What the hell is unlikeable about this video (bad english i know). but what could possess you to click the dislike button when its a cute polar playing with a squeek ball???

愛犬トイプードル・Soleilちゃんは、膵臓がんでお星様になって半年余。
4ヶ月以上苦しんで、自分は泣きまくった。
いまでも、毎日、骨壷抱いて泣いています。
もう苦しくないよ、もう癌にならないよ、と言い聞かせつつも、
Soleilちゃんの写真を見ては泣いています。

ほんと、身内が亡くなった時の辛さとは全くの別物です。
自分の父親の時も祖母の時も全く泣かなかったのに。
実は自分は人間の医者（内科・心療内科）で、数多くのお方の看取りに立ち会って、死亡診断書を数多く発行してきた。今日も病院で看取りがあって死亡診断書発行。勿論、人様の場合も悲しみはあるが、
最愛のトイプードルの場合は、全く次元が違っていた。
ママ（嫁）の、献身的な看病で泣き、
日に日に弱って、最後は立つこともできなくなって、
これ以上痩せられないぐらいやせ細って、
あれは自分の当直の晩、もう全然食べられなかったのに、最期は吐血を3回もして、お星様になっていった・・・、
辛かったろう、辛かったろう、自分は生涯想い続けるだろう・・・（涙涙・・・）
翌朝、家に駆けつけ、まだ暖かかった愛犬を抱いて号泣しまくった・・・。
ごめんね、ごめんね・・・。
（今もパソコンの前で涙が溢れてくる・・・）
せめて骨壷だけは大きいのを、と・・・（涙が溢れて止まらない・・・）
